I needed a place to talk about my ACNH adventure, so here we are.

Hello!

So, here I am. I'm Kay. Uh, idk what else you want to know but...

With the new update coming up, I've been drawn into the game again, so while I am waiting as patiently for that I'm working on my island. I used to be scared to terraform and change my island, but 'm over that now. I'm so excited about that!

I needed a space to talk about my island and ideas because I don't have many friends who play and no one wants to talk about Animal Crossing with me XD so I'll dump all my thoughts here!

Let's talk about the game and villagers!

I got caught up in the update and DLC lol.

I've popped in to tell y'all that today I had a campsite villager and I had just moved Chelsea onto my island, but I was curious as to who was there. And it was Cephalobot!! I was so happy this morning when I made this discovery.

After 20 minutes of losing card games, he finally agreed to move in and Chelsea is moving out, which is fine because I have her amiibo card and I'll just move her in again later on. So long as it wasn't Aurora or Del, I was fine. No one else on my island is safe though.

I'm just happy to have one of the new villagers on my island though! I literally went hunting for any of them the other week and ended up with Bitty, so literally this is fine. I love him already and I just got him this morning, lol.

I'll update more later on because today is my mom's birthday, so I'm going to go spend time with her <3

I started my kidcore island yesterday. I am making that island on my brother's switch since he doesn't play the game and he said that I could do that. I did this because I haven't finished my first ever island, which I really want to do. I'm attached to it, so it only makes sense. I'm just glad my brother was kind enough to let me use his switch when he's not using it.

I got most of what I wanted from starting a new island. I got peaches as my native fruit, I have right facing river mouth, resident services isn't center with my airport - all things different from my first island! I did get an orange airport as opposed to the blue or yellow one that I wanted, but that's okay because I think all the airport colors go well with kidcore!

I also got some kidcore villagers as my starters! I'm so happy about it, and they are species I've never had before!

I don't know exactly what the goal of this island is going to be. I think that really I wanted to stick to a theme and see if I can see it through. I don't know if kidcore is considered an easy theme, but I know there is a ton of inspiration out there for it and it seems like a lot of fun! And at the end of the day, having fun is all that matters, right?

Here is a progress report on how my farm area is going, with pictures!

I got my stairs up. I put up a little stall, that is not really acting as a stall. It's more of a storage area. I decided to go with letting the area be inspired by my own mom's garden, so she would use a stall like that as a storage area more than anything. My trees have grown as well and I'm so happy with how they look in the line along the back of the cliff.

Not shown is the silo I put up just to the right. I'm still figuring out if I like that, I'll post how that looks later when that area is cleaned up a little more. All I need to do now is put some pathing down. I haven't found one that I like for this area. I'm still experimenting with some custom paths that I've found.

I really love this area. It really has turned out the way I wanted it to in terms of terraforming. I was worried about that. I was scared I would be bad at terraforming, but I think that what I've done so far is pretty good. More to come.

Here is a progress report on how my farm area is going, with pictures!

Villagers

Today, Ozzie asked to move out. And I said no. I'm not ready to see him go. I love him and he's amazing, but I don't know if I see him being one of the villagers I finish this island with. I've had him for a very long time, so while I love him, I do want to make more friends. I just need his framed photo first lol.

If Wendy asks to leave, though, that's fine. I already have her photo and I can send her away happily. She's also one of my villagers I've had for a while.

If Wendy moves out, I think I would like to have Coco move in or one of the new villagers coming with the update. I have my eye on a few but there's literally too many for me to pick just one from the new batch. I just know I want Coco at some point.

I'm just still in awe over them. I might just make a bunny island at some point just because I can and I like I especially love the bunnies. I think the bunnies and the penguins are my favorite villager types.

And tbh I already have new island ideas in mind but my switch is for my first island as of rn so I'm gonna see if my brother lets me use his to make new islands on lmao.
