A Sugar-induced Dream of Sweetberry

🎀 I visited Emi’s adorable island of Sweetberry, an island with a rainbow pastel theme. The whole time I was strolling around her island, all I could think of was “this island feels like a hug”. Like cotton candy, the island is soft, saccharine, and above all else — PINK! While Emi particularly coordinates the cute and mermaid sets, what I was most impressed by was her ability to find a wide variety of items which fit the color palette of the island. This island is a must-visit for people looking to construct kidcore, pastel, or otherwise adorable islands.

I’d had been familiar with Emi’s custom work previously, especially her Pietro dress, and she hasn’t stopped making darling designs since. It’s clear she’s a Pietro and Dom superfan, as incorporated in her island and fashion designs. I’m hoping soon she puts up work centered around Étoile, as I imagine the new islander would fit perfectly with her aesthetic — and she’s a sheep to boot!

It has been some time since I last posted an island photo set, and I was really excited to hop back into photography. I couldn’t be happier to share this return by visiting Emi’s island. I hadn’t even thought of it until posting, but how fitting to visit her island on the beginning of Autism Acceptance month. I’m so glad I could provide a preview of her work and highlight one of my many amazing sisters with ASD. 🧩
