How amazingly insane would it have been if “Animal Crossing” slowly becomes like “Silent Hill” the longer the distances between your visits to your town become???

And you just log on, and the little village is just coated in fog, and weeds have overgrown every free space they could.

The houses are dark and deserted. The only bugs around are the cicadas, which are chattering noisily from beside the tree stumps, screeching the closer you get.

Pumpkin-headed figures in sheets hover above the ground, but they do not acknowledge you

You reset the game, and Mr. Resetti does not come to berate you

And in every crack in the ground you dig up, you find a new Gyroid.
