Hello all! My name is Bee and I write platonic yandere stories! Feel free to check out my masterlist to see my extensive collection of OCs!
Asks about any of my characters are welcome! I love my goofy idiots and want to talk about them. Requests are closed! Any request sent in will be deleted! Again, asks are fine, requests are not!
Heads up! I am a full time student so it may take me some time to write things. Also, some of my stories will be reposted/edited from my (now abandoned) Wattpad (acosmicbee)! Just want to get that out there so that if anyone finds it there's no plagiarism accusations.
I WANT TO WRITE! LET ME WRITE! BUT NO EVERYTHING SOUNDS BAD, AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING!!!
(This is a cry for help y'all... if you have any kind of plot ideas for my Project Hail Mary draft [like why Y/N is in space in the first place] please let me know because they're probably better than mine okay bye)
Do you think you will ever do any platonic yandere stories with human animal shifters or hybrids?
Like for example, one with a weretiger seeing someone wandering in the jungle to explore or something and thinking this cub must have been abandoned. I think something like that would have instincts to lick you for cleaning and I can see reader freezing up at the cleaning thinking they're being tasted before getting eaten or even freezing and cowering when they see the tiger come out of the jungle brush for the first time.
You could even do a bear shifter who finds someone lost in the forest during a storm and take them back to the den to keep warm wondering why they've been so neglected that they don't have near enough fat for hibernation in a few weeks.
While I don't have any plans for a shifter right now (beyond my Little Red Riding Hood inspired story and the Halloween special I did for Milo), I can certainly add it to my list of potential story concepts as something people are interested in which may be written at some point! Thank you so much for the ideas <3
What is your favorite story that you have written?
Which one of your characters would you choose to have as your yandere parent?
What story that you have written would you choose to be in if you had to pick one to happen to you?
I like these questions!
Okay, so I'll pick my favorite stories from each masterlist because I can't just pick one. From the non-magical timeline, probably Teddy Bear. It was my first, so Emma and Stephan hold a very special place in my heart. They're just so soft and squishy. From the magical timeline, it's gotta be Sweet Daffodil because who doesn't love an eldritch horror who looks at you like you're the sole reason for their infinite existence. For the Fairytale Chronicles, it's Athol's Little Helper (with The Faerie Queen's Child in close second). Gotta love an intimidating Duke who kills his partners but spends his free time designing clothes for his child. Lastly, from my specials masterlist, it's a close tie between Hadestown and The Purge but I've got to go with The Purge. Who doesn't love scary women?
Hmm... as for a parent, I'd probably choose Annie or Milo. They're just chill and want the best for their kid once they've settled in. Annie has a ton of games and lets you decorate your corner of her basement, and Milo has Rocky and Brownie. They're really just having fun.
Hm... see I have different answers for different reasons. Teddy Bear, Baby of the Family and The Invitation are all pretty chill on Y/N and I think would be the most adaptable. However, if we're talking for crack reasons and because I think it would be funny (at least for some parts) I've got to go with Rehabilitation, Best Babysitters Ever, The Faerie Queen's Child and Heart of the Sea.
Rehabilitation, because I can be really salty and annoying. Best Babysitters Ever because I just think it's a funny scenario from an outside perspective (if you remember the McDonald's analogy that an anon came up with, especially). The Faerie Queen's Child because I still think a curse coming true by a dumb kid tripping is the funniest thing ever. Lastly, Heart of the Sea, because I think it's funny Julian's reaction to an assassination attempt was just to laugh at Y/N for being a tiny child.
just warning you in case but the person who did the ranking on batfam authors is back on tumblr and will probably do it again judging by their last post and the fact "one of the authors" supposedly said that they did nothing wrong. just letting you know not trying to start drama i just believe you deserve to know and be prepared just in case! i love you and your work and i hope you're doing ok please take care of yourself 🫶🏾
Announcement to all the Writers in the Yandere Batfam Tag
Do you remember the person who made the tierlist? The A-F ranking of plenty of the writers who wrote for the Neglected Reader trope? They are back to probably posting unnecessary criticism about writers, tagging them, and posting it in the main tag sooner or later. Read screenshots below:
I have no other words for this. Honestly, dragging my name to the dirt for something I can't control (and in my defense, I credited gotham-daydreams in my prequel alongside multiple other writers, I have never claimed to be the original or accurate to the comics— I haven't done anything other than posting what I've written. The fact that my fanfic is the one to get popularized is not something I control and not something I should be blamed for), when in reality I'm glad A&A got the recognition despite all the negativity surrounding it. Because it at least inspired new writers to post their own renditions, it made new stories branching out of the contained trope, and there has been an active, small but supportive, community who've all been there for each other.
I made this post because truly, I don't want this beloved niche to die down.
It's all just so reminiscent of what happened with the burn book incident in the JJK writing community. Where something as small as one person allowing others a platform to anonymously post their hate stirred a chain of writers to quit, deactivate, and lose their passion for writing. So my point is: If you see this blog, don't even try to entertain their bull anymore and just report them for harassment and hard block them. Giving them the illusion of power just makes them want to create more drama the longer you interact with said person.
As for writers, I feel it's my part to also warn you guys to turn off anonymous submissions for a while as I have if you're prone to being hurt easily. There's a massive wave of harassment and hate anons I've been receiving in my inbox — AI accusations, entitled anon messages, death threats, and so many more it's disgusting— that you're going to think they all come from the same person or a group of it at least. This has happened before last year, I'm afraid that it's happening again now.
That's really all. I have no other point to make because I already pointed them in all my previous posts. For anyone reading this, please take care and don't let all the hate get to your head because at least you have a life! These haters don't <3
I'll be tagging all my friends and writers I know down below. Don't be afraid to do so too!
Just reblogging this because I think it's important that people see it.
Whether you've been around this niche for long or only recently found it, please remember that there are actual people behind these blogs, stories, and updates. It's completely fine to dislike a trope, a fic, or someone's interpretation of a character. What's not okay is using that as an excuse to harass writers, send anonymous hate, spread rumors, or make people feel unwelcome in a community that's supposed to be built around creativity and having fun.
One thing I've learned from being in fandom spaces is that giving attention to people who thrive on drama usually only encourages them to keep going. If you come across harassment, report it, block it, and move on. Protect your peace and don't give them the audience they're looking for.
To my fellow writers: please take care of yourselves. Turn off anonymous asks if you need to. Step away from social media if things become overwhelming. Curate your online space however you need to. No story, update schedule, or fandom discourse is more important than your well-being.
And to everyone else reading this, I hope we can continue supporting the creators who make this community what it is. Regardless of how you feel about any other story, there's no denying that this niche has inspired a lot of people to write, create art, make friends, and share ideas. I'd rather focus on encouraging that creativity than watching people tear each other down.
Take care of yourselves and be kind to one another. The fandom will always be better for it.
Okay so this is very outside of my niche, because I write OC stories not fanfic, but a lot of yandere DC writers, especially batfam, do tap into platonic yanderes so I've read their works before and follow quite a few.
I feel, most importantly, it needs to be said that you should be very careful with what fanfic you read if you're so caught up on following cannon and interpreting cannon a certain way. It's on you to decide what you want to read and what you don't, not the writers.
You don't have to read something you don't like. Too many people don't follow the simple rule of 'don't like don't read' and feel the need to complain to authors about the ways the stories aren't specifically tailored to their wants.
Now i feel super lucky that all of you are extremely respectful and supportive and I doubt any of you would ever do something like this. I just feel like its a situation that could honestly have larger repercussions if other people see the OPs post ranking different writers and think its okay to do.
You can totally recommend different blogs and stories to people! The problem comes with tearing down other people to do so. While some people have commissions or Kofis or whatever, a lot of people just write for fun and make no profit.
Lets just be respectful to each other, pretty please! -Bee
The problem with taking a biological anthropology class is now that I'm trying to come up with some parental aliens, I'm just sitting here like, 'yeah but do they have sexual dimorphism tho?' 'do they have a biological reason to be obsessing over a kid?'
I JUST WANT TO WRITE, NOT THINK ABOUT THE REALISTIC EVOLUTIONARY IMPLICATIONS OF A FOREIGN SPECIES
Bee I'm telling you, the book is WAY better than the movie!!
I read it YEARS ago and I've been recommending it to people ever since
Time to annoy my dad into driving me to Barnes and Noble tomorrow because he's home! I'm glad to hear the book is way better because I really liked the movie <3
Might need to table my current draft for the time being because I finally saw Project Hail Mary with my family today and now my mind is stuck on aliens...
I'm a sucker for a good caretaking story and you delivered! I do hope there will be a part 3.
I can tell the kid has attachment issues because, while she does sound scared, she is just resigned to let whatever happen to her. She knows she has no control over her life and thus, must take what comes. She won't protest.
I am looking forward to a part 3 where it's the first morning. The kid has had some sleep and some food and is now ready to hear some explanations. I imagine she probably thinks she's in a very good dream or constantly toeing the line of "what if I mess up and I'm thrown away". Artemis needs to PROVE that she is the guardian she wants to be. I want to see her taking an interest in the child and making them feel like they are listened to.
A part 3 will be coming at some point, I swear <3 Artemis' story isn't over yet
For now though I am playing around with some other ideas and trying to figure out what to write next!
Potentially yandere best friend/cheerleader and her jock boyfriend but I feel like that concept has also been done a million times before so idk...
Also reading through some fairytales to figure out what to do next for the fairytale chronicles. Maybe Snow White or The Little Mermaid? Let me know what you want to see <3
After reading that ur moving into a single a while back, I've also been wanting to leave my roommate and have a space of my own with no one to bother me anddddd I also got a single! I'm just scared that I'll get those random surges of Loneliness more often. It's a bit more expensive obviously but I'll try to find a good job and take full advantage of it .
If I hadn't seen ur ask that random day weeks ago I probably would have been stuck in this God forbidden place till another year but thanks to you I'm not! I'm shifting in July end
OMG GO YOU!!!
As much as those random bouts of loneliness suck, it's important to remember that you have people who love and support you! Trust me, I get those all the time, but it didn't stop when I was living with roommates, so I realized you can't let that stop you, especially when you're just unhappy with your living situation overall!
Very proud of you anon! It's a big change but I'm sure you'll find your footing and make the best of it <3
(Possible TW for Y/N being given a bath, just in case it may make someone uncomfortable!)
Artemis didn’t want to wake you. Not when you looked so perfect asleep and cozy in her car, where you were safe. She still had your hand in hers, gently brushing her fingers against the back of it.
She was so happy she’d found you when she did, looking out the window at the dark clouds rolling in. Thunder was rumbling in the distance, promising one hell of a storm tonight.
She knew in her gut the second the call that you’d run came in that you’d be at the playground. Knew she’d find you tucked into the playstructure. She’d never been so happy to have her gut instinct be right.
Her informant had also mentioned that you’d been limping a little when he’d seen you running, which she made a mental note to check on once you had been warmed up and dressed in some proper clothes. She had the cutest pajama set she’d picked out that she guessed was around your size with some cute suns and moons on them.
She also noticed that you didn’t have the stuffed tiger she’d left for you earlier that day. Oh well, she’d send one of her men out to get you another when she arrived back home.
Speaking of her men, she pulled out her phone, dialing the first number in her contacts list.
“Grace. I’m gonna need you to reschedule that call with the Hartshorns tomorrow, something came up.”
•❅───✧❅✦❅✧───❅•
Artemis had you in her arms. She’d been terrified she was holding you wrong as she gently unbuckled you and took you out of the car. But then you’d grabbed at her blazer, eyes opening for half a second to readjust your head on her shoulder before falling back asleep.
You were perfect. Absolutely perfect. She gazed down at you in awe, gently swaying you as she walked. Her penthouse apartment had always felt so empty before she’d seen you in the playground that day. Then her dreams had started to come back.
It was that day, after she’d seen you on the swings and you’d waved at her, that she bought something. A stuffed kangaroo with a little joey in its pouch. It was on her couch, and she smiled at it as she carried you past.
Then she’d begun planning for the future, your future together. The spare room, which she never knew what to do with, became a haven planned for you. She’d already bought you everything she thought you’d need for once you came home.
The walls were Winnie-the-Pooh-themed, painted to resemble the Hundred Acre Wood. It had been one of her favorite series growing up, and she hoped you’d enjoy it as much as she had. There was so much she wanted to share with you, to teach you.
The bed had the softest sheets she could find, pattered with little stars and planets. She’d also found some glow-in-the-dark stars to stick to the ceiling to make your room look even more magical. It may have been a little overkill, but she’d also procured a projector shaped like a ladybug for even more stars, if you so pleased.
First things first, she wanted to get you into some clean clothes and look at your ankle. She lay you down on the bed so she could find the pajamas she wanted before carrying you across the hall into the bathroom. It was there she gently began stroking your back, talking to you.
“Hey, I’m gonna run you a bath so we can get you all nice and clean, okay? I need you to be awake so I can look at your ankle, and you can tell me if the water is too hot.” She hummed, gently bouncing you until you opened your eyes.
“Hey there, sweetheart. Look at those pretty eyes. Is it all right if I take off your shoes and socks?” She gave you a gentle smile when you sleepily nodded, but shook her head. “Words, please. I want to make sure you know what I’m asking you and you’re okay with it.”
“You can take them off…” You mumbled, looking around as you tried to figure out where you were. “Who are you…?”
“My name is Artemis. I’m going to be looking after you now.” She said, gently beginning to un-velcro your shoes. “We’ve waved at each other before at the park, but we’ve never actually talked.”
“I'm Y/N… You left me the gifts, right…?” You murmured, wincing and pulling away when she touched the top of the sock on your hurting ankle. “W-Wait, it hurts!”
“Oh, I’m so sorry, but I need to look at it to make sure you didn’t hurt yourself. I’ll go really slowly, okay? Or do you think you want to take it off yourself?” She offered, trying to keep you calm.
“Myself… I can do it…” You insisted, even if tears welled up in your eyes as you hesitantly began to roll down your sock. It hurt a lot, and you sniffled when you saw the dark purple bruise covering your ankle. “Ow…”
“Okay, I’m going to gently feel to make sure it isn’t broken. It just looks like a nasty sprain, but I want to be extra sure we don’t need to turn tonight into a doctor visit.” Artemis informed you. “Hmm, how about you ask me anything you want. Or just talk about anything that comes to mind.”
“You were the one leaving me gifts right…?” You hesitantly asked again, seeing as she hadn’t answered.
“Mhm. I thought a sweet kid like you deserved something nice.” She hummed, gently beginning to inspect your ankle.
“I’m sorry about the tiger. My mom saw it and she got really mad and called me names and cut it’s head off.” You murmured, a tear burning a trail down your cheek. You only began to cry more when she began gently flexing your foot and gently probing your ankle. “I-I’m really sorry…”
“No, love, it’s okay. It wasn’t your fault in the slightest. Tomorrow we’ll get you a brand new tiger, and it’ll be as if it never happened at all.” She promised, seeming content as she finally released your foot. “Nothing’s broken; it should feel better in a few days.”
She pulled a couple of bottles from under the sink, holding them up for you to inspect. “How about some bubble bath? This one is strawberry-scented, and the other is pear-scented. Which one do you prefer?”
You looked a little nervous at being asked to make a choice, but when a trembling finger pointed at one of the bottles, she smiled, dumping it into the water for you. “What an amazing choice. Can you make sure the water is an okay temperature?”
“It’s okay. I like it warm.” You agreed as she gently moved you to perch on the rim of the bathtub.
“Okay, now here’s the part where I really want you to communicate, okay? Do you want help getting undressed, or do you want me to turn around while you take care of it yourself? If you want me to turn around, I won’t turn back until you tell me it’s okay.” She reassured you.
“Can I do it myself?”
“Of course. Let me know when you’re ready for me to turn around.” She smiled, turning her back to you. There were certain things she’d grown unfamiliar with since taking over the mafia, and willingly turning her back to someone was one of them. However, she loved you already, trusted you implicitly. She let you see her undefended back so you could feel comfortable in your new home.
It wasn't long before the gentle rustling of fabric stopped and there was a quiet splish from behind her. “Um… Miss Artemis…? You can turn around now.”
“You don't have to call me Miss. Just Artemis is fine, or Artie. We'll work our way towards closer names.” You were curled up under the protective layer of bubbles, only your head visible. “Do you want to handle washing yourself and your hair or do you want help?”
It was quiet for a moment as she watched you think before you quietly made your decision. “I only want help with my hair please…”
She nodded, looking away when you looked a little uncomfortable and beginning to ramble on about whatever came to mind. She talked about her day, minus the more illegal parts, a book she’d been reading, an argument she’d had with Grace over what counted as a proper meal.
“I mean, I'd trust Grace with a lot of things but not food. That cup was full of like three different energy drinks mixed together into some kind of abomination.” She explained, leaning against the tub as she stared at the wall.
“Can you help me with my hair please?” Her heart swelled at your little plea as she grabbed the shampoo and conditioner bottles she’d already set aside.
It was a dream come true to watch the way you slowly relaxed as she ran her fingers through your hair. The way your eyes slowly became half lidded and you began to yawn.
She was very careful when rinsing out the products, making extra sure to avoid your eyes. It was never silent. If she wasn't talking she was humming or tapping a rhythm against the tile. A steady presence for you to cling onto.
After letting you rinse yourself clean of bubbles she was waiting with a fluffy towel to bundle you up. You were moving slow and she was careful to help you keep weight off your bad ankle as you brushed your teeth.
She combed your hair for you after you were dry and changed into your pajamas, making sure it would be nice overnight. Then it was finally time for bed.
She tucked you into the stellar themed sheets, placing a couple stuffed animals around you in case you wanted a cuddle buddy tonight. Finally, she sat down beside you, a book in her hands.
“One last thing before bed! Bedtime stories are a must.” She insisted, opening the book as you curled into the pillows. “The Letter. Toad was sitting on his front porch…”
You were asleep halfway through the story but she finished it anyway, admiring how peaceful and at ease you looked when you were completely relaxed.
The last thing she did after turning out the light was to click on the ladybug projector, letting even more stars dance across the ceiling. You were her whole world and beyond now, her entire universe. The universe could never have too many stars.
Hmmm random author interlude here cuz i wanna talk for a sec.
First things first, I GO HOME TOMORROW! IM OUT OF THIS GODFORSAKEN DORM!
Next, its really interesting seeing which of my characters get popular with you guys and requested a lot versus who doesn't. It's really interesting because I feel like I can never predict what y'all will go feral over and want more of.
Also along that line, I feel like I'll post certain stories thinking the characters will be favorites and never get an ask versus ones where I'm less confident about them and suddenly I'm flooded with asks.
I feel kind of like a scientist studying you guys ngl.
ALSO never apologize for spam liking! Again, I feel like a scientist studying you. Its interesting to see where you start/which story you find first and then how you work your way through my masterlist!
So I picked up some shifts at work (which one does when they're done with finals and have no job over the summer)
This is so awkward... I know none of these people and I regularly work with none of them... I have like 3 more picked up shifts over the next couple days and if this is what its going to be like on all of them wish me luck because the social anxiety i feel right now is so high
I think im just going to try and find a corner and stay there if I'm not actively doing something for most of shift
Bout to go take my French final and then as long as I've passed the class I never have to look at this language again! I'll also be done with finals and hopefully have some more willpower to write
