I would like everyone who hates me/believes I hate them to just deal with it and move on with their lives.
I don't like you, you don't like me.
Sometimes that happens.
We can all get along and be happy.

Tomorrow I am going to attempt to spend almost two hundred dollars.
This amount of money, being spent at once, is meant to make me happy. Tomorrow night, when I have not cured myself through materialistic means, I will be very disappointed. The strangest feeling in the world is knowing you will be disappointed, but not having any power to change that fate.

I would very much like my Christmas break to be over now.

I feel like I just ruined my best friend's life/happiness. I feel like he hates me. I don't blame him.
I hate me too.

I just sat through a hysterical play where I knew I was supposed to be laughing. Instead, I am now sitting in our house's kitchen, by myself, very lonely and sad.
And I have a headache. My life. Headache. Lonely. Good thing I found these hot pockets. * nom silently *

Is an avoidance of a direct answer a lie?
Not today.

Star Light, Star Bright
The first star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish, I wish..............
It needs to be tomorrow. I can't handle today right now.

My new favorite past time is to watch relationships, whether they are friendships or romantic or work or casual, crumble into nothing. There is a metaphor floating around in my head, but I can't put it into words. Instead, I'll just comment: it's sad, but also satisfying.
I'm a jerk.

There is not a single part of this up incoming school year that does not make me want to vomit/scream in excitement at the same time.
It's time to go.

I hate people who complain.
Because there are so many problems people have. So many crazy things in this world that we have absolutely no control over that make our lives hell.
Sure it is unfair - and of course I do it to.
I loathe that I do it.
But come on. It makes REAL problems seem so stupid. When you finally have a real issue - something that is life shattering - all the complaining is so trivial.
The worse part is when you have a crappy day, which of course you spent most of the time complaining during, and as you parade around in a pity party someone else shows up and tries to brighten your day. As they are talking they start to complain. Which of course is something that, as a complainer yourself, you despise. But their problem is real.
Their pain makes your complaint about a hard day of work look entirely childish. AND THEN they have the audacity to stop their complaint and say, "I'm sorry to complain like this. Do you need to vent about anything?" And you just feel so stupid. Because you are stupid. And your complaints are stupid. I am just so tired I would kill a million puppies to get a good night's sleep.*** ***Yes. I guess that was a complaint.
7.19/7.20
*I started this on the 19th...so it counts for both.
Today in the pharmacy the pharmacist was showing me the system they use to order drugs. While using it he noticed that he was running low on Singulair (a popular asthma and respiratory inflammation medicine). He showed me the steps of ordering the drug...but when we got to the webpage that showed prices he stopped.
A shipment of 8000 pills cost $42,000. Both of those are huge numbers. So let me break it down for you.
Singulair is currently a "patent" drug, meaning that only one company can make it and produce it. There is no cheaper generic available, so essentially this company can make it as expensive as it wants. How expensive?
Well..each pill roughly costs $5.
That doesn't sound like a bunch. But you are probably paying for 30 of these suckers. Roughly $150 of medicine. AND it treats asthma. Something that is not curable and really only controllable under this kind of medication treatment. IT blows my mind that people spend that much money on drugs. When it REALLY comes down to it I guess I am not surprised. I mean... I would spend a lot of money to feel better. But...jeez. Like for 8000 Singulair pills ( each pill barely the size of an M&M ) I could buy a nice car. Drugs guys. Drugs.

I missed two days.
Sue me.*
*Actually...don't do that. I realized today that I am am much poorer than I thought. Suing me would result in you stealing all my money. Which is not enough. You would be sad, I would be sad, everyone would lose.
Things I learned today:
1. My dinosaurs are not as powerful as I thought. (I downloaded a new app today)
2. If you play the dinosaur game during Chemistry class time actually passes slower than if you pay attention. HOWEVER Dinosaurs > Chemistry.
3. If you play dinosaur game in class it is very easy to forget that you are in chemistry class and swear way too loudly when the triceratops kills your baby dinosaur. 4. If you play the dinosaur game in class and forget you are in chemistry class, swearing very loudly, your chemistry professor will ask you what you just said. You have not been paying attention...so you say that you don't understand where he is getting the concentration constant.
5. If you swear in front of your chemistry professor, so he calls on you, and you say something about a concentration constant, he realizes he copied down the wrong numbers and thanks you for correcting him. Lesson learned.
Dinosaur game is awesome.

CAN'T TALK NOW WATCHING THE WALKING DEAD AND STUDYING FOR CHEMISTRY.

Every time someone asks me about my future I am both incredibly excited, and painfully frightened. It is euphoric but debilitating. The strangest of paradox.
7.13
Today was Friday the 13th.
The only thing bad that happened to me was when I forgot that the gym I belong to hosts a "silver sneakers" event the second Friday of each month. That means lots of old people in the gym. Needless to say I did not work out today.
7.12
I go into a Pharmacy on Thursdays. It is a strange experience. They are always busy, but I can't really do anything to help. All I can do is stand there and watch. I really want to get certified as a tech, mostly so I can actually do things and not just stand there and look like an idiot.
But for now I stand there, am questioned by the Pharmacist, show about the drugs, meet drug reps, chat with the techs - but all together do nothing.
Which is really not a problem. Until, like I previously said, they get busy. Then the Pharmacists loses his patience, the techs make mistakes, the old ladies waiting for their medicine get cranky, and I feel completely useless. It is a feeling that I have never liked. In fact, I do just about anything I can to avoid feeling useless. But in this situation I can do nothing. I am: useless. In a way it is a lesson to me in giving up control. I can't control anything, because I cannot do anything. It really tests my patience, my ability to stand back and watch without having my hand in anything. Letting people do their jobs (that I couldn't do - but none the less it gives me anxiety that I can't do anything). Primarily I am feeling useless. But I know that this is something I can change.
