My two fav sillies 😭 they're so adorable! This whole scene reminds of this one post I did a while ago!

Sebek does not care about those birds 😂 (as expected from an NRC student), but he knows Silver cares a lot, so he relents anyway. It reminds me a lot of Lilia's Dorm Wear Vignette, where Silver wants to take care of the baby bat while Sebek says it'll be better if they let nature take its course, but ends up trying to help Silver with it. He doesn't care about those dang animals in the slightest, but he'll put up with them for Silver to keep him happy ig.

And Silver throwing himself in harm's way to protect the eggs, even though he definitely could have gotten seriously hurt (Or die bc it seems like it was a really high fall), is so him 😭. He put the lives of those eggs over his own, which is a lot to unpack if you think about it, but it's to be expected (we should create a counter for the number of times he actively puts himself in harm's way for the sake of others...)

And Sebek was worried for him when he fell 😭. I could only imagine how it would be to watch your oldest friend almost plummet to their death. He's such a fake idgafer, he cares so much for him.

The unseen scene is Sebek tearing into Silver for his self-sacrificial stunt. Everyone thinks that Sebek would be the cause of Silver's stress, when in reality it's the opposite; Sebek is going to get permanent stress wrinkles watching Silver fling himself into danger.

I really like all of the changes the anime made to Tachihara’s nightmare.

I’ve said it before, but I’m a huge fan of him being driven and agreeing to the surgery in his hunting dog uniform and then having second thoughts while in his mafia outfit.

But I was staring at the air purifier door trying to figure out the symbolism there other than just silly horror moment bc all of the other changes were related to his character.

And I was thinking maybe bc he’s insecure abt how he’s perceived…but no, I’ve connected the dots. Because we DO have him being stared at and judged on the other side of a door.
