Could you possibly speak on what can lead to hate sex? I'd like to incorporate hate sex into a story I'm writing but I can't think of too many good scenarios that could lead into it.
I have no clue when this was sent. I’m not really on this blog anymore.
I usually see “hate sex” as when like exes sleep together. The romance/love isn’t there anymore and they’re feeling their grief or anger, but using sex as an outlet.

The Goddess of War; Annabeth’s mother was outraged. Her daughter was fraternizing with a boy who changed cities as often as he tossed away cigarette boxes. She kept an eye on him every time he left – expecting it to be the last time. Frustratingly enough, however, he seemed to always come back. Until, one day he didn’t. Her daughter would never realize what a poor choice this Brandon was. He would break her heart and Athena could see that he was planning to leave her. (Brandon had an overnight bag in his car. That was proof enough for the Goddess.) So, as vengeful and cruel as any god, she reached into the mortal’s mind and TORE the memories of Annabeth away. The poor, weak boy nearly collapsed when it happened. She plucked a memory, crafted it into truth, and used it like a band-aid over his wounded mind. She wanted him to suffer – not end up a vegetable or in a coma where Annabeth would find him. Brandon would be left with an ache, a loss he couldn’t describe or understand, and a vague memory of a car accident that never truly happened. He couldn’t find his way home because he didn’t know how to get there. He fell back onto habit and what felt most natural to him. He left and kept moving with no idea of a destination. Brandon would live and suffer never knowing that a God had taken away the only one who mattered to him in this world.

Living in the heart of the city and sitting outside of herapartment to smoke a cigarette seemed romantic in her head. Everything wasrather romantic to her, but it wasnever about love. It just felt cinematic. But at the end of the day, it was neitherof those things. She was sitting on the rather rusty fire escape alone whilelistening to the sounds of horns and sirens wailing blend into one as smokefilled her lungs. But she liked to pretend these scenes in life were like themovies.
Right on cue, she felt a slight shift on the fire escape andcaused her eyes to go up. There above her stood her neighbor who seemed to alwayshave a smoke at the same time she did. She didn’t mind. He was good company atthe end of these days. A smile twitched on her lips and she held her cigarettebetween her fingers before blowing out smoke. “Hey,” she called out loudly inhopes of surprising him, “Seriously, what are you and your roommates doing allnight? Y’all make it hard to sleep down here. It’s like you’re playing dancedance revolution all night long.”
Brandon knew she’d be out here - it was almost routine or a habit just like the rolled tobacco between his fingers. Still, he grinned, sitting down at the top of the fire escape’s narrow stairs, so he could easily talk down to his neighbor and listen to the conversations of his roommates. “We’re actually partaking in a floor orgy.” He joked, lighting his cigarette. His roommates didn’t care if he smoked inside, but one of their girlfriend’s did. So, he sat out here, gave himself cancer, and talked shit with Mavis. Brandon paused to inhale the nicotine, “Besides,” He said, smoke trailing after his words, “I don’t think anyone’s played D-D-R since the nineties.”
