❝ --- No. Not yet... ❞ Tak starts. Her wording slowed as though something else had distracted her entirely. The darkened figure, however, remained in her peripheral -- unmoving. Filling the air with an unwanted sense of unease. ❝ Any reason to these ... kidnappings? Do you hold something of value on your person? Are you here under some kind of direct order? Is there any reason you shouldn’t be here? ❞ Tak’s eyes narrowed even further. Impatiently waiting for Dib to respond.

( The Tallest. The Control Brains. The Irken Armada. Planet Irk )Tak’s loyalty is deeply entrenched to her kind. She’d easily surrender her own life – even if it were unexpectedly ordered of her. Born and conditioned to believe that her life was there to serve the growing armada – nothing more. Ideas of militaristic purpose is stubbornly ingrained ( coded ) to her PAK – her place in society is there to aid IRK in galactic conquest. Not meeting these expectations labels her ineffective and at risk of being deactivated. Tak’s ambitions are strongly influenced by this idea – which leads to why she took to such destructive measures to please the Tallest. Her life had been given to conquer – and without that. Her life is of little value to the empire. She’d go as far as to destroy herself if it meant successfully achieving what she had been born to do.

In a subconscious gesture of disgust – her jaw tightened. What did he call her ? Her antenna’s appeared to almost convulse at the insult. The unexpected scorn forcing her to draw back – hesitation bringing her militaristic salute to an abrupt standstill. His malign belittlement had been quick – as she had only entered the room a few minutes prior. It was clear he had been expecting her – as an actual mop was thrown in her immediate direction. Lucky for Tak – she reacted quickly. Narrowly missing it as it clattered to the floor beside her..

City mornings. They were loud. Over-crowded and boring. --And this particular day was no different than how it had felt yesterday. Human routines weren’t exactly appealing, so it was still an honest wonder why she still felt obligated to observe them. And continuously take note of every little deviation that proved them different than the last. Tak annoyingly clicked her tongue -- directing her attention away from her notebook ( inscribed entirely in IRKEN ).

Her expression appeared as subdued boredom -- pupils occasionally wandering to meet the gaze of a curious passerby before she slipped into one of the passing crowds. Hidden between a huddled group of human adults -- scrutinizing their heights as she walked with them. Individually surveying their minds as her eyes passed until her connection dropped. As if suddenly blocked -- her sights locked onto someone she could only describe as unnaturally tall. Her eyes burned into the back of his head. Attempting to cognitively latch onto the figures mind. But it proved much harder than it commonly was with the simple-minded. However, this felt different. Much different than the it had been with Dib and Dib’s sister. It didn’t feel ... human. Momentarily dazed, she broke the connection and turned her head. Her eyes boring into the back of another’s head -- comparing.

BASICS

▸ is your muse tall/short/average? Tak is considered average height. She sits at exactly 5′0″. Although it is small compared to other species. It is pretty normal among Irken kind. ▸ are they okay with their height? While height doesn’t exactly bother her personally -- height plays a huge role in the hierarchy of her species. Tak believes she is more than capable in taking roles that someone of her height isn’t often seen with. ▸ what’s their hair like? Tak does not have hair and neither does anyone of her race. However, while she does appear to have hair in her disguised human form. It is simply just not real. Despite this, it does take on a short, messy appearance. Something that won’t particularly be interesting or distinct among the human population. ▸ do they spend a lot of time on their hair/with their grooming? While she doesn’t necessarily spend too much of her time on this -- she does just enough to keep herself clean and professional. ▸ does your muse care about their appearance? In some ways yes. It is entirely dependent on whether she is presenting herself to someone of higher power or not. If she were meeting with the control brains or the tallest. She’d 100% be straightening every wrinkle in her uniform and making sure her antennas are properly curled. ▸ does your muse care about what others think about them? If she feels they are inferior -- no. Only those who are above her are worth worrying and/or caring about.
