I’m surprised that I managed to gain a few followers on here despite not posting anything for the entire year. And they weren’t even bots either. Proud of y’all for visiting the tomb of my dead blog and leaving flowers on my grave.

You may not like SWSH, but CONSIDER THIS!!
Falinks.
I hate that you can’t name each of them individually, they all deserve names
I named mine “The Squad”
I may have been dead for the past several months but you better BET that I’m putting Falinks on my blog because they’re the cutest god damn Pokémon since Rowlet. They fight together, they dance together, they have cute emotes together, and the best part is that they’re listed without a gender which means...
PARTY BOYS. PARTY GIRLS. PARTY SQUAD.
Flower shop Diana and Akko
There it is, my favorite Diakko.
This is the Magical Stick of Yay™, reblog and you will be blessed with great amounts of yay this week, but only if you say “keep believing, Akko!”
Yo, why the hell did this get 200+ notes two weeks ago and when did this amass 1k notes. I’m staring at you, LWA meme blog. I’m not even alive on this blog anymore but thanks, glad y’all like Akko’s magical yay.
RIP Dumblr.

Well, I mean, Garfield does care
Anyone who’s ever owned a cat knows that they have thier own ways to show they love you
An often overlooked thing about Garfield is between the snark and schemes, he’s really a loving kitty
I guess these aren’t as memorable as the wackier strips
But Jon can always count on Garfield to make him smile when it really matters
And Garfield knows that Jon cares
I swear, my cat is the same way, the below picture is an accurate portrait of how it is to have a dog and cat the same time.
Theory accepted
wholesome
It’s rare to see Garfield content on Tumblr that isn’t “Jon is a heartless monster” or “Garfield is some eldritch horror”
Every year (even in 2018 where the majority of the awards have been given to first-timers), there’s claims that the Cacowards are biased or ignored magnificent stuff. For Doom’s 25th anniversary, the 2018 Caco Committee (Cacommittee?) have introduced 25 older mods that really should’ve gotten a Caco.

Pic unrelated, but it sure is eyecatching.
Name: Evilternity Author: Dragonfly ‘n’ Friends Game: Doom 2 Source port: MBF-Compatible (PRBoom+, GZDoom…) Type: Mapset Link: https://www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/103425-release-eviternity-rc1/ Release date: December 10, 2018
Six five-map episodes by some top-notch mappers to mark Doom’s continued oldening.
SIGIL™ is a free megawad for the original 1993 DOOM® created by John Romero. It contains nine single-player and nine deathmatch levels. The free megawad will be released in mid- February 2019 and requires players own the original 1993 registered version of DOOM® in order to play. SIGIL™ is the spiritual successor to the fourth episode of DOOM®, and picks up where the original left off.
In addition to the free megawad, SIGIL also releases in two limited edition fan boxes created by Limited Run Games. The fan boxes feature music by metal guitar legend Buckethead, including a custom song written expressly for SIGIL, and cover art by Christopher Lovell whose iconic, detailed work has been featured on numerous metal albums. (Note: The free megawad does not ship with Buckethead’s music or Christopher Lovell’s art.)
Looks like the rumors of John Romero making an “unofficial” episode 5 for DOOM were true. Goddamn, that box art is sexy! What a lovely gift.

I fucking love you, John.

You’ve close enough to the anomaly that its reality-warping effects are completely apparent. Will you be able to put an end to the reign of terror on Phobos? Or will you die at the conclusion of this episode?
John Romero put his own finish on Knee Deep in the Dead, about twenty-two years since its release. It’s a huge level gloaming with hitscanners, and while it may not match the ghostly atmosphere of the original “Phobos Anomaly”, it certainly succeeds as an action-packed adventure map confined in the toxic lake of the UAC station, and the sheer spectacle of the final encounter alone is worth seeing.

Today DOOM turns 25 years old! Happy Birthday! #25YearsOfDOOM
The standard of shareware and PC gaming in the 90s, the headache of many computer network supervisors. For a handful of alarmists, the scapegoat of the season, but for many others, their first contact with the vast and ever-growing world of videogames.
On December 10 of 1993, the team of id software finally uploads to the public the shareware version of their most recent project to the FTP server of the University of Wisconsin; a computer videogame that would soon become an instant classic, establishing itself as one of the biggest names in gaming history.
They called it “DOOM”, but their fans called it “The Best Videogame Ever Fucking Made”. “DOOM” is shorter though, so that’s what we use these days.
Fast-paced action, an assorted roster of enemies and weaponry (even for today’s standards), and an unrivaled catalog of user-made content that just doesn’t seem to end and still expands itself as we speak. That’s just a handful of reasons why DOOM still holds the status of gaming icon, even 25 years after that group of indie developers decided to release what I like to call a computer anomaly.
And the future looks bright for DOOM: A new DOOM game is on the horizon, game mods are still being developed for the original game, and hey, why not, even a new DOOM movie is also being made! Can’t say we’re going to run out of things to enjoy anytime soon.
Let there be more DOOM for the next 25 years…!!
Just some additional info. of the first picture:
I actually finished it back in May of this year. Partially inspired by the look of The Ultimate DOOM retail box, I wanted to create a CD “cover” to celebrate the 25 Years of DOOM.
I wanted to match the same effect the “ULTIMATE” and “THY FLESH CONSUMED” letters have. If you own that Ultimate DOOM box in real life you should know what I’m talking about. It’s hard for me to describe it, but that’s more or less the kind of effect I wanted to achieve.
Then I decided to take a couple of extra steps and use some PSD templates of CD mockups that I found on the internet. And that’s what the second picture is.
(I actually did another variant - a “sleeve” version, but you’re going to have to look for it because I won’t post it here. Try checking my Instagram…)
