"I think of this laceration of your life with an infinite sense of all it will mean for you."

You’re trying not to tell him you love him, and you’re trying to choke down the feeling, and you’re trembling, but he reaches over and he touches you, like a prayer for which no words exist, and you feel your heart taking root in your body, like you’ve discovered something you don’t even have a name for.

Sorry about the blood in your mouth. I wish it was mine. I couldn’t get the boy to kill me, but I wore his jacket for the longest time.
Richard Siken, Crush (via bloodyknucklxs)
Hush, go back to sleep.
lulled back to sleep.
accepting ; selective
he’s not quite seventeen and he’s finally got his own apartment, which would be the only thing in the faction that he can rightfully call his own aside from a leadership role that he shouldn’t have taken in the first place. a few months away from seventeen, in all actuality, and he’s already drowning in choices made for him. nightmares aren’t new territory, but they’re becoming difficult to really swallow when it all comes down to it. the less he sleeps, the easier it is to wake up completely vulnerable – forced out of his own body by apparent terror. it’s hell, he’s sure of that.
the only relief he finds is the occasional night when four seems to find the mercy in his bones to pass on to eric, and eric isn’t sure what brings him to do it but, if he can figure it out, he’ll play on it more often. use that mercy for what its worth because he’s just a selfish creature, and he’ll drown someone else if it helps ease the pain. ( maybe its the vulnerability, the exhaustion – maybe four can taste it in the air around him. maybe it’s the grey seeping into his everyday life again. maybe that makes eric too much of a victim. maybe he should be ashamed and push it all away. maybe. )
his mind is awake long before his body, and he lies in the paralyzed shell that he’s doomed to inhabit and he swallows back noise as sweat curls down the broader parts of his face. over and over; it is an endless cycle – faces and voices caught between his ears. mercy he had never given, mercy he shouldn’t get. and then his limbs respond, and everything begins to fall back into place. whispers stop, his heartbeat is his to control once more.
but his restless nature doesn’t seem to go unnoticed, and he can feel arms slither around a quietly shuddering form, sweeping him up and close to a body almost too warm.
( why. why does he do this; why does he show someone so cruel mercy in midnight hours when its only right he be left to squirm. )
he doesn’t speak or breathe or move; not at first, his fingers stiff at his sides. for a moment, he tries to pretend composure was never lost. but the pound in his chest is a reminder that this time, he doesn’t have full control – and the shortness of his breath plays pure terror through the beads that slick skin.
and so he lets his head drop to one side and settle against the crook of the others neck, giving a shaky exhale into dark fabric.
university au where eric is a ( human / medical ) genetics major with a minor in psychology and president of a dumb sorority.
And Four is a Psychology major and part of the same dumb sorority?
four is eric’s dumb vice president and they met because they were in the same classes freshman year and decided to join the same dumb sorority.
i hope you mean fraternity

Dear muns who play the same muse as me,
You’re very cool (and you have good taste in muses), and if you want to, we should totally be friends. None of this silly jealousy stuff, come love me. Add me on skype, talk headcanons with me, do crack with me. There’s no reason not to be pals, you’re awesome.
Love Always, me.

15 Striking Hyper-Realistic Paintings by Patrick Kramer
culturenlifestyle:
American artist, Patrick Kramer has been professionally painting since graduating from Brigham Young University in 2008. To compose his hyper-realistic pieces, which effortlessly give the illusion of a photograph, Kramer spends anywhere between 50-300 hours on one piece. To begin, he takes a photograph of the scenery he desires to portray. He gathers multiple photos, props and uses Photoshop to compose the final image for reference. In an interview with Wallhop, Kramer says:
“I would say it’s a unique experience for the viewer. You approach a painting so much differently than a photograph… People will walk past a fairly banal hyper-realistic work, assuming it’s a photograph, but when told it’s a painting, will do a double-take. They’ll go back and scrutinize, look for brush strokes.”
Below you will find some of Kramer’s most impressive pieces.
