the meeting

The passenger liner looms in front of you as you shoulder your pack and wave a last goodbye to the friend you’ve been staying with for the last two weeks. It’s your first time off Tattooine, and you’re still wary of space travel. The seats on the last liner were slightly too narrow for your ample hips to fit comfortably. This ship looks a little fuller than the last one. You hope you’ll have a bit of room to spread out.

You pass a rather imposing man in a gleaming suit of armor, arguing with a transport security droid.

“I’m a Mandalorian,” he growls. “Weapons are part of my religion.”
