Never believe that you don’t matter to anyone, that nobody cares. There are always people who do care. I know I can be a lousy friend. I don’t go out of my way to keep in contact. I rarely initiate the conversation and sometimes I disappear for months. But even if we don’t talk anymore, even if we parted ways or left things on a bad note between us, I still care about you and I would be devastated if something happened to you. I just want you to know that.
