Hannah Waddingham for The Guardian, Saturday 18th July 💚💚💚
Hannah Waddingham as Judith Burton in Ride or Die, Season 1 Episode 1. THE black dress
Liz Friedman wrote an episode of this show and was consulting producer on two.
Liz Friedman, as in co-executive-producer of 91 episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess.
No wonder this show is so freaking good.

I’m in love with Cinders early Concept art for volume 2
I feel like the white hair with pants was such a good piece I wish they had reused it in some way
Ofc you know I had to draw her in it 🙂↕️✨ (she looks more like a witch to me in this outfit)
I LOOVEEEE the white hair being in relation to Salem
"Rubes. It's late. What are you doing out here?"

Relic of Destruction
*bang pots and pans* RWBY vol. 10 has been greenlit !! ❤️🤍🖤💛
I think Cinder's is the design I'm most looking forward to seeing in Vacuo. We've already seen her grimm arm spread above her elbow to over her shoulder from volumes 5-9. Since the end of volume 9 implied there'd be a bit of a time skip, the grimm could have potentially spread much father. If grimm replaced her arm it could also replace her eye!
There's also this concept art from volume 4/5 where she has these cute (tiny!) arm spikes on her grimm shoulder so I hope we at least get something like that eventually.
Now, I'm all for a soft visual reboot of RWBY's visual style, there's plenty of modernizations it would benefit from.
So...I had a quick look at Sola Digital Arts' library of projects, and... hm. Yeah.
I'll put my hands up and say that 'ugly' is subjective. But their 3D animation style looks like it hasn't evolved since 2010.
I really hope they don't stray too far from the source material.
What do you think?
Note: To my awareness this is a wholly sourceless claim that has not been backed up by *any* evidence, and originated somewhere on xitter.
VIZ themselves have not said anything about what studio is making this - and I do remember some claims that they were building an in-house one to do it back when rwby was first entering pre-production.
I had a look, various news sites are picking it up so I'm assuming it was a press release. But they all say the same thing: RWBY 10 is being developed by Sola Digital.
