I will never be okay with the opinion that Hachi is bisexual because she didn't feel for any of her male partners even 15% of the adoration and attraction she felt for Nana. Each time she entered a new relationship, it seemed more like she was excited about the idea of being in love rather than genuinely attracted to her boyfriends. She desired love, care, affection, attention, and happiness, but she was never as affected by them as she was by Nana. Even her adoration of Takumi when he was just a celebrity from a poster seemed more like something a straight woman might feel for a beautiful and talented actress.
