Nike Bench Advertising - Don’t be lazy
Nike's swoosh is recognizable anywhere. Their brand is that good. They don't need any of that extra stuff to translate a point or what they sell. Your looking at branding success.

Caribou Coffee: Ovens out of transit shelters
There's been some huge competitors 'tapping' into the coffee market lately. Consider the new Tim Horton's Latte's and McDonald's 'Bring back the break' campaign for their McCafe launch. Some options to sip on over a frosty winter perhaps.
Sometimes great ideas are the simple ones.
LOGO OF THE DAY
It's been a hot minute (or two) since I have last posted - I've been a tad busy in job hunt mode and it has been fruitful.
JOB HUNTING: INFORMATIONALS
Part of my job search technique has been to network with current professionals in the industry. This afternoon, I will be talking with a Group Account Director from Saatchi & Saatchi Canada. It's a chance for me to pick the brain of someone already living the life of an Ad Pro, a chance for me to get some insider scoop, and a chance for me to grow intellectually.
For the Ad Wannabies out there, I highly suggest this approach. Today's informational will be my 4th or 5th one and I have a few more next week.
Scouring through the Saatchi & Saatchi Canada website, I thought this print ad for Gas-X really stood out for its smart simplicity. It is also rather comedic, which is always a plus.

REMEMBER
It takes a special someone to have enough determination to endure and withstand performance training. So why not weed out the unwilling?
Excellent idea by Toronto's very own Cossette.

I absolutely love this ad. It reminds me of how I used to clean my room - by throwing everything underneath my bed. Problem is, one day it'll all be exposed, and it definitely was.
For me, I believe when an ad can make an emotional connection with their audience, then it is successful.
