Happy New Years Eve!
There’s so much to look forward to in 2023. I hope to graduate college, start grad school (and first, get into grad school), and read a LOT. Reading and studying have been a source of joy in life and chronicling it online helps me look back on all the things I have learned.
Hi everyone! I’ll be posting new episodes of my podcast every week on here along with picking back up on my content as I did get accepted into grad school for marriage and family therapy! I’m so excited to start this blog back up again and make some serious changes to it. In the meantime, plugging my podcast really helped support me and the cost of attending a graduate program, and also I’m really proud of my work and hope others enjoy what I say. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my favorites now because thursdays-saturdays are packed. I was productive, I went through my planned sched for this week patiently and also did requirements. However, I’m also disappointed in some groupmates.
There’s no use in getting stuck with frustrations. I choose peace. At least I did my part. I choose to be good, to be truthful, and if now they are showing signs of laziness, I just pity their future patients.
Here’s to doing good, and to doing what’s right. 🥂✨

Hey friends!
It’s been a long while since I’ve posted on here. But I have the best news to share. I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelors in Psychology! I just applied for a masters degree in licensed marriage and family therapy at University of South Florida
In my gap year I have been working with a clinical psychology lab at ASU and assisting in research and thesis work which I love very much. I also have started a podcast called Psyched! This podcast is intended to be educational and also comforting. Like a deep intellectual talk at 2 am with your bestie. Educating and being vulnerable about my experience with mental health and my education in it is truly my passion and I hope you all enjoy my work.

It’s been a while everyone but I just wanted to pop in and say I graduated with my BA in psychology in May and I’m looking into different masters programs here in the U.S! Either a masters of social work or a mental health counselor masters! 🤍

MIDTERM SEASON
1:12pm Oct 17th
Reading week is just finishing up and so for most of us that means midterms are starting on Monday. My reading week consisted of 10 hours of rewatching lectures, over 20 hours of finishing up last minute study notes and spending time even if it was just studying, with my boyfriend.
I find that there is this fine line of balanced between studying enough, studying too much and having enough breaks for time. Whether you’re in midterm season or not I think a monthly, weekly and sometimes even daily reminder that balance is important is needed.
