ADALINE BLISS / PRE-ACPOCOLPTIC MOODBOARD
â Â Â there is a crack in everything. thatâs how the light gets in. Â Â â
This is glorious.
I will always reblog this
jacksononeil:
Jackâs eyes watched over the female carefully, watching her lift her shirt to reveal no guns on her. âIf you have no weapons, how could you of survived this long?â The question had its point, no-one in their right mind would try and survive this new world without a weapon.
âIâm good at hiding. I also donât normally venture out of my home. Iâm with a group.â She said picking her bag off of the floor and slinging in on. In truth, she had left to look for her brother. âIf I have to face one of those things I use whateverâs closest to me.â
jacksononeil:
âI didnât believe that from the last guy that came this way, so I have no trust in your speaking the truth.â Not far from the pair was a recently dead male body on the side of the road of the man Jack killed about an hour ago with a knife he had in his shoes.
âYou can look for yourself.â She said her voice quiet. She tossed her bag over to him. She lifted her shirt so he could see that there werenât any weapons hidden. âIâm not killing anything. Iâve been running.â
jacksononeil:
Holding his faithful pistol up as he seeâs someone coming close, Jack was on guard for anything the stranger had in mind. âYou have ten seconds to tell me what you want or iâll be adding another hole to that face of yours.â With years of military training, Jack was an expert with a pistol.
Addy help up her hands as they trembled. âI-Iâm looking for food.â She said her voice shaking. The younger brunette was terrified of the threat. âI promise I donât have any weapons.â
cyrusthurman:
â Â i sure hope youâre not lyinâ to me, now. Â â Â a disapproving click of his tongue, Â â Â shit, if youâre not careful youâre gonna end up hurtinâ my feelings. Â â
â  iâm not lying to you, sir. i promise.   â she said shaking her head. â   i only have one bar of food left, but if you need it you can have it.   â
foxworthhq:
He was happy that he seemed to be in the company of a person who knew how to survive. Someone who, he felt, he could count on if the situation called for it. âWow, you are prepared, I like that.â He said with a smile. âMy grandmother always said a smart person is a prepared person.â It was one of the few things that he agreed with his grandmother on.Â
The brunette wasnât a fighter, but she knew that she wanted to live. She didnât want to kill things unless she had to unless she would die if she didnât. She let out a soft laugh at his words. âIâm just trying to make the best of what I can work with.â She said with a small smile. âI think sheâs right about that. She sounds like a smart person.â
foxworthhq:
Fox shook her hand and nodded his head in agreement. âI wish we had too, Addy,â he said in a soft voice. âHave you check the place out?â He asked. He started to quietly walk towards the living room to scope it out. âIf you want we can take turns standing guard, or just make sure one room is really secure and camp out there for the night.â he said turning towards her.Â
She smiled nodding. She had lived in the town all of her life, but now it had changed into something almost unrecognizable. âI did. Itâs secure here. I was getting ready to lock the front door when I heard you, and I hid. I moved the furniture to block the back door so we should be good.â She said as she moved along beside him. âThereâs a back room, only one door no windows double bolts. I think weâd be safest there.â
foxworthhq:
He felt a bit relieved when she expressed having a similar reason for being in the home. âI think we all wish we were,â he said again with honesty. He did wish that he was goodâŚnormal even. However, he knew that he wasnât. What he didnât know is if he would still play the part of odd librarian or be his true self. âIâm Foxworth Rossen, itâs Nice to meet you.â He said extending his hand. Fox found that if he pretended to be polite people would write off his oddities as him being out of touch with what was normal.Â
Addy didnât know how the world could have collapsed into such chaos. All she wanted to do was hide in her house forever, but she knew that wasnât realistic. âI try to be.â She said with a nod. She wanted to be kind, and help people. She tried to help people whenever she could. âAdaline Bliss, but I usually go by Addy.â She said reaching out a hand to shake his. âI wish we could have met before all this happened.â
foxworthhq:
He was quiet for a moment. Seriously pondering over her new set of questions. âIâmâŚnot quite sure yet myself,â he replied honestly. One of the reasons why Fox was never able to make friends was because he was honest, even when the situation called for him to lie or bend the truth. âAm I looking for trouble? No, not at this very moment. Iâm just looking for somewhere to rest. What about you?â He asked. âAre you a kind personâŚor are you a threat?â
At his words she felt her heart race, but still she forced herself to exit the cabinet. Addy knew that this could bring out the worst in people, but she wanted to believe that thing could get better. She believed in things getting better. She believed that people were truly good at heart. âIâm looking for some place safe for me to stay in.â She said softly. âI like to hope that Iâm a kind person.âÂ
foxworthhq:
âIt depends on what your definition of anyone is,â Fox said in a barely audible voice. âAre you asking if anyone KIND is hereâŚmaybe. If youâre asking if there is anyone who could be a THREATâŚmaybeâŚâ he said quietly walking around. Fox loved the way the world seemed to be shaping out. A world where it was survive or die. One where he could engage in his darkest thoughts and not be scorned for it. To be living in a world where  K I L L I N G   was the new normal.Â
the brunette stayed under the cabinet. âwhich are you? are you kind or are you a threat?â she asked her voice quiet. she would be lying if she said that she wasnât terrified. she hated everything that had happened. she didnât want to live in a world where she had to fight to survive. she was never much of a fighter. she believed that words could always solve more problems than violence could.Â
ofhoney:
âshi-oot!!â diane yelled, jumping backward. she shot her hand on her forehead, raking down her face as an exasperated sigh slipped through her lips. she had enough of that bullshit for the day; she didnât need some chick popping out of a cupboard and giving her a heart attack. âif you weâre thinking that was a good idea, iâm afraid you were mistaken.â
âsorry.â she said softly as she climbed out of the cabinet. addy had never been much of a fighter, and so when she heard a sound she acted on instinct which was to hide. âiâm not a good fighter. i didnât know what else to do.â

Elizabeth followed the female voice to the end of the library and put her gun away. She didnât want to scare the girl, and judging by her tone, she was already scared enough. â I know leaving this place might seem scary, but the town has fallen. Thereâs nothing left here, the supermarkets are soon looted. And eventually, the monsters will get into every building that seems safe now.â     She paused, eyeing the girl. âEven if you had guns, your chances to survive alone are not very high.â Elizabeth gave the girl a reassuring smile. âCome with me, youâll be safe. We have medicine, supplies, and skilled people who protect you and the others.âÂ
She couldnât leave the town. She had people there that she cared about. The town was her home, and she couldnât imagine leaving it. âNo.â She shook her head. âThings will get better. They have to. This will all go away.â She said refusing to believe anything else. She always believed in the better, that there was a reason for why everything happens.Â
âI canât leave here. My family is here. I canât leave him.â She said shaking her head. She had to find her brother. She couldnât leave them. They were the most important thing to her. âIâm sorry. I canât leave here.â
corlecnis:
Seven. Elizabeth looked at the dead body lying next to her feet, blood oozing from itâs head. It was the seventh âŚmonster she had killed already. And yet it still felt unreal. But right now, it was not the time to think about it. With her gun in one hand, and a knife in the other, she slowly walked down the street, looking for civilians who survived.     The marine stopped in front of a library, believing that she heard something from inside. Carefully, she opened the door and slid silently inside the building, mentally preparing herself to be attacked by one of these monsters. After waiting a few seconds, she came to the conclusion that this place was safe. At least for now. âHello? Is somebody here?â, she asked and paused, waiting for an answer. âI am Sergeant Murphy. We have a safe zone outside this city, and Iâm here to escort those who survived to the camp.âÂ
Addy had been walking around. Well, it was more like hiding and then running as fast as she could away from the things. She hadnât found anyone that she knew in the town. She wanted to find someone that she knew. She didnât know what was happening. She didnât want to believe that this was going to be the new world.Â
She had been hiding in the library when she heard a voice calling out. She tentatively peeked her head around the shelves. âI donât think I should go.â She said shaking her head. She didnât want to leave the town.Â
the brunette had been looking for supplies in a house when she heard a sound. she had instantly dashed into the cabinet shutting the door behind her. she stayed silent, her heart racing as she waited for the silence. after a few minutes she slowly opened the cabinet door peeking her head out from under. â  hello?  â she called out tentatively. â  is anyone here?  âÂ
