There is probably worse fates out there, but you’ve spared me from some comments from my other friends and some embarrassment. You’ve never had cream cheese with some pita chips? They’re pretty nice when you’re on some weird diet like I am. Low carbs and everything.Â
Could I suspect some sexual comments or anything of the sorts? Those are always the worse. Weird diet? Why on earth are you of all people on a diet, look at you! And that’s a compliment, just so you know.Â
Well, I’d be a little offended if you didn’t. I like to think that—.. I don’t know, people are at least a little bit happy they’ve met me. I think my career aspiration probably has a lot to do with the fact I spent majority of my childhood in hospital or injured somehow. Turns out I had a bit of a talent when it came to participating in stupid activities and breaking all sorts of bones. I wasn’t — I didn’t think of that, but if you were up for it I wouldn’t complain. A bit of company on an exciting journey, hey?

I haven’t ever broken a bone, funny enough, but the amount of bruises that have coloured my skin is nasty. Mum used to tell me that it was all the calcium I drank that stopped my bones from breaking, her way of tricking me into drinking milk. Well, it all depends whether or not we have a destination. And if we do, where would that destination be?
A strange, yet unique combination I can guarantee you will never come across ever again. Well, you might in a mental asylum. I’m specialising in internal medicine. Oh, nice — I’ve never been to Detroit. Yeah, unfortunately. As much as I’d like to move on to bigger and better things, I can’t bring myself to leave. I haven’t quite put my finger on the reason why, but the second I do you’ll be the first to know.

Are you sure? Did I get it? I truly thought it was going to be one of those tricks where you flick the person’s nose and call them stupid for buying into it. But, I always end up getting something on myself or my clothes. Elegant? I’m far from graceful and all of those other synonyms, if I’m honest. Quite the opposite, really.

I do? Shit, I could’ve sworn I wiped all the sauce off my face. Burgers are a real difficult task to eat, one bite and next thing you know you’ve got more sauce on your face and shirt than in your actual burger.
Which is why it is on my list of never eat on a date foods, because of it being so messy. It joins things like spaghetti which can splash around and make you look like you’re at a crime scene.
