Would you recommend Hedwig and the angry inch to a cishet? I'm recommending movies to a friend, and I love Hedwig but I'm afraid I would scare him.

highly depends on the person, maybe ask if they've liked other campy, queer, sexually explicit musicals. but i'm a cheerleader or priscilla queen of the desert might be a better introduction, but if they're into rock or punk music then hedwig for sure.
if it makes you feel better i had a screening at my house but was using a sketchy streaming sight and it kept buffering and wouldn't buffer past the bathtub scene (exactly when she flicks her buisness card in the water) and we had to rewatch it a painful amount of times lmao
