The meat grinder has a new home to replace the cardboard box it came in. Box is made from birch and the lid from Birdseye maple I sawed out of a stick of firewood. #woodworking #finewoodworking #birdseyemaple

I've been preoccupied and haven't had much time in the shop. At two months old I was finally able to finish this crib for Odessa. It's made from birch, which is a pioneering species in a forest stand and represents new life. The lumber was sourced locally from a small sustainable mill and the finish is a hand rubbed beeswax with mineral oil. #finewoodworking #woodworking #dowoodworking #crib #baby #antigonish #novascotia
