A/N: the second chapter is finally here! Hope you enjoy, as usual, don't be too afraid to share your thoughts :D
Alejandro Vargas
Alejandro is a sentimental man without a doubt, someone who likes to remember as much as he can from his past — be it the good or bad. A habit he has learned from his father when he was younger was purchasing a postcard and a coin or bill of the local currency whenever they visited foreign countries. It didn't happen often unfortunately, so this goal was a little difficult to accomplish, but with the years spent in the military and now as a Colonel, he gets more opportunities to visit places he has never been before. To this day, he still gets a card from every new city he goes to as a memory that he was there once.

Word Count: 2.3k
Warnings: mentions of lost teammates
A/N: here's a new series I just couldn't wait to post! Feel free to share your thoughts about it, I would be very happy to talk about the topic even more!
John "Soap" MacTavish
Often, Soap needs something in his hands to tinker with, be it equipment he has on person or something he's snatched during the day. One thing he rarely forgets to wear is a hair tie on his left wrist — so it doesn't get in the way since he is right handed — that he can easily fidget with without drawing too much attention to himself. He tends to take rubber bands he spots for most of the same reason, but also partly because they can be used out in the field too. You never know why and when you might need them, and Soap has a reputation for creating working explosives from the most unrelated objects.
Cod: mw ii characters as type of kisses (pt.3)
Pairing(s): gender neutral reader / könig, kim "horangi" hong-jin, alex keller, farah karim
Word Count: 2.7k
Warnings: mentions of canon typical violence, talk about anxiety and insecurities
A/N: the last part is finally here! I know most of these guys aren't technically mw2 characters, but I couldn't just leave them out of the fun haha! On another hand, I'm sorry if this seems more rushed than the previous ones, I haven't had the chance to get to know these characters as well as the others yet. Anyhow, thank you for all the love on this series, it means a lot to me! :)
König - "breathy kiss"
One of your favorite things was to share kisses with him. He was always so responsive to your touch, whole body reacting to every slight brush of your skin on his. It felt like he was comfortable enough to show you how he truly felt through them, not even trying to find a way to deny his love. It never failed to drive you crazy in the best way.
If there was someone easy to fluster, it was definitely König. Those times he happened to be confident were limited to when he was out in the field, so during the time you two spent alone together, it wasn't difficult to make him bashful. You tried not to take advantage of his reactions and contain the giddiness you felt when he got into such a state, but it was a feat; he always looked adorable tripping over his words, cheeks a nice shade of red and hands fidgeting as he tried to come up with an answer to you. You couldn't get enough of his shyness, but you made sure to never cross any lines and boundaries you two set up. Sure, messing with him was entertaining, but the most important thing was to never make him truly uncomfortable or upset. Not to mention, you could spend time with him without trying to make him crumble with cheeky words, and have just as a great time — if not even better.
Tranquilo
Pairing: gender neutral reader / alejandro vargas
Summary: In nature you could always find comfort, no matter the place or time. When he came along, you had a person to share that with again.
Word count: 993
Warnings: none
A/N: something short but hopefully comforting while I work on other things :)
From very early on, you've enjoyed nature immensely. Ever since you could babble on like all babies do and grasp the grass in your hands, your parents had difficulties tearing you away from the ground in fear of making you upset. A little older, but still just a child, your mother would often have to drag you back into the house when the Sun started setting, because you were too fascinated with insects or birds to realize how much time has passed. Luckily, living in a suburban part of the city, there was a perfect opportunity for you to spend time outside whenever you wanted to, close under your parents' watchful eyes — although that became less relevant as the years went by. You could always leave the house and sit in the garden or wander around the neighborhood, effectively escaping the rush of everyday life for a while.
Cod: mw ii characters as type of kisses (pt.2)
Pairing(s): gender neutral reader / simon "ghost" riley, rodolfo "rudy" parra, alejandro vargas, valeria garza
Word count: 2.4k
Warnings: nothing that I know of, this is just fluff
A/N: here is part two! I have another (last) one in the works, I hope you like this as much as the previous one <3
Simon "Ghost" Riley - "hand kiss"
Being in a relationship with someone who had a difficult time opening up wasn't an easy thing, and if you were a lesser person, you would have given up long ago. But knowing your love was reciprocated — even if not in a flashy way in front of the general public — made the hardships well worth it.
Gently scooping up a little sapling while humming under your breath, you were enjoying a calm Monday afternoon. Well into the month of May, the weather has been perfect for gardening for a while now, and you didn't waste the time you had to tend to your little oasis in front of the house. The various plants have been growing for years and the garden was something you were really proud of; fruits, vegetables and flowers were all healthily blooming in this time of the year, making the path leading to the front door inviting and beautiful.
Second chance
Summary: Phillip Graves was a lucky man, even when it didn't always feel that way.
Word count: 910
Warnings: suicidal thoughts, mentions of character death, near death experience, existential thoughts, slight references to alcohol problems, angst with very little comfort, hopeful ending, possible x fem!reader if you imagine it to be
A/N: I can't stop writing angst with Graves and I am about to make it everyone's problem lol. Anyhow, this wasn't really proofread, overall it's a fic about Graves surviving the whole getting blown up thing. The timelines might be a little confusing, but I hope it's still enjoyable! If you find any mistakes let me know!
Song recommendation: Daughter - Medicine (got inspired by the lines "You've got a second chance, you could go home")
Phillip Graves knew how fortunate he was.Â
During his career, it was impossible not to experience some kind of loss; be it a higher up, a teammate, a friend or even a target, losing people was inevitable. When someone asked, his answer to the question was always the same — "You get used to it."
In reality, you never do, he never did.
Cod: mw ii characters as type of kisses (pt. 1)
Pairing(s): gender neutral reader / kyle "gaz" garrick, phillip graves, john "soap" mactavish, john price
Word count: around 2.1k
Warnings: slightly suggestive themes, other than that just fluff
A/N: this work was inspired by some posts I have seen years ago, but unfortunately couldn't find the original sources anymore :(
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick - "in the moment kiss"
Maybe you were arguing about something, or talking about another niche topic for the fifth time that day; either way, you looked way too alluring not to kiss.
"I just don't get it you know? Why would they name the fruit pineapple?"
It was just another day he spent at home with you between missions, enjoying the quality time you two could share together. As usual, you've been going off about the mentioned topic for a few minutes now, trying to prove your point to him about how it made no sense to call the fruit pineapple — naturally, you were sure your opinion was correct on the matter.
So utterly absorbed in your own thoughts, gesturing with your hands and all, you didn't realize how your boyfriend was staring at you the whole time. Gaz always looked at you like you hung the stars above, enhancing the night sky with them — you did, if he was to answer. His gaze was burning in the best way possible, filling you with warmth whenever he set his sight on you. You weren't sure if he knew the effect he had on you, but judging by his smirk sometimes, it was likely.
