Two weeks go by and @pageantqueenaus doesn't hear from me. Why didn't I call her straight away or arranged a meeting with her ? Because I was afraid, I never pictured myself being one of the contestants in @missworldaustralia. As a little girl, whenever @missworldaustralia or @missuniverse goton air, I would just admire the beauty, confidence, the elegance, and the intelligence these girls had. I never pictured myself having any of the above. Anyways, so after a month I finally decided to contact @pageantqueenaus and arrange Lunch. I figured, what am I going to lose? I had already lost everything, as I had thought. Fast forward to 9months later, and I am proud and honored to be a contestant for this year @missworldaustralia. It hasn't been an easy journey, being one of the finalist is such a glory because not only do I get to chase my dream, I get to help the underprivileged and the sick. I get to give back. I've become one of the ambassadors for @varietyaustralia which is such a huge honor because I got to work with children and these children deserve to happiness, and deserve to live, laugh and learn. These children and family deserve assistance when government assistance isn't available.It's such a pleasure to give back to the Australian community. To those who have cheered me on from day one. I just want to thank the Lord for all he has done in my life so far this year. This year I am one of the Miss World Australia Victoria state finalist. This is such a huge blessing to participate among other intellectual, beautiful, caring and amazing women. #Beautywithapurpose has given us girls the platform to raise awareness and help children in Australia who are sick, disadvantaged and who have special needs. I thank you lord for giving me the opportunity to be able to give back to those families who are struggling and do not have government assistance and to give these children back their HOPE, and to LIVE, LAUGH & LEARN. After doing a bit of more research about the Miss World Australia, what intrigued me the most was the fact that it's a pageant which is ultimately built on morals, ambitions and having interest in others.
