George got p2 today. For the last 4 races we could only hope to say a sentence like this and yet here it comes his own team and especially his own TP to try and destroy the happiness bc at best they ignore him and at worst they’ll say if it was the other driver in his place he would have won while also shamelessly ignoring how they completely fucked up the strategy.

But, as I said, GEORGE GOT P2 TODAY after some unbelievable horrors, so I will not let disgusting people take this joy away from me. Yes, I’m angry, but still very VERY happy for my driver. Two things can coexist.

Like, I get that people ship Britcedes, but let’s not kid ourselves that George was happy about Lewis’s win when he put that car on pole and wanted this win so badly after so many unlucky races. He’s angry and upset that he didn’t win, no matter what he says. As he should be. That fucking team let him down again. It’s the second time this season he didn’t win the race after putting the car on pole. The only good thing about this race for him was Antonelli’s DNF, not Lewis’s win. Let’s be real now.

I wish this meant they’re gonna whoop the guy ass bc he clearly raced hard (risking penalties)* when it wasn’t necessary, stressed his and George tires uselessly making both of them lose time and earn Hamilton an even bigger advantage, but knowing the team they’ll try to turn this against George and I can only hope he stands up for himself here 🗣️

And after it, I cannot stress enough about the fact that most of this happened not bc he thinks p3 in a race is bad, not even bc if it went like that he would have lost THREE points to his enormous gap with George, no. It happened bc he couldn’t even tolerate the idea of being behind his teammate for once, just like in Canada, bc he’s obsessed with a battle that he’s (considering bad luck and an incapable team) mostly doing alone if not for some feeding by his own garage.

I never truly understood when people compared him to Max, but now I get it: both of them are in fact fixated with George. At least Max makes the whole thing interesting.

- Barcelona: george will do good, will benefit, Kimi will struggle. She thought George would win but the KA struggle…

- Austria: another team winning, Kimi struggling. George doing ok

- Silverstone: another team winning, Kimi struggling again. George doing ok

- Spa: Kimi winning
