Jannik, let's be honest, knew. He's not stupid; he's noticed how Carlos acts around him, and he finds it cute. So, he avoids talking to Carlos about it so as not to make him uncomfortable and jeopardize their relationship.

One day, Carlos, who at the moment wasn't in a serious relationship, is seen more and more often with an unknown man, who even comes to watch several of his matches. He eventually makes their relationship official, and again, the reactions are mostly positive.

But Jannik starts acting strangely, becoming distant, and looking at Carlos's boyfriend with that "Darth Sinner" stare. He doesn't care that Carlos is gay; he's totally fine with it and will always support him. But he doesn't like Carlos's boyfriend, he doesn't know why. Every time Carlos smiles at him, or touches him, Jannik, for some reason, feels sick to his stomach. Besides, there's nothing special about him; Carlos used to look at him and touch him like that too, before...

But Jannik is certain of it, Carlos's relationship won't last, and soon everything will be back to normal.

Not favouritism, not incompetence then what is it?? Not supporting your driver is a choice. Not going to celebrate your driver 100th race where he is on a podium a choice. The tp going on the podium and celebrating while one of your driver lost points because of the team's incompetence is a choice. The tp insuitating that they should have used 'team orders' immediately after a race where the driver suffered because the team made a mistake is a choice. And this 'choice' gives out a very wrong narrative.

People did not wake up one day and decided to randomly accuse the team of 'favouritism.' Its the result of their own actions. Y'all paraded the team-dream slogan but when we expected the team to show up y'all never did. And please don't give me the 'oh they only celebrate p1' or 'oh they didn't celebrate because Antonelli dnfed and gr was p2' nonsense. It was his 100th race. It was a moment for celebration. If they could celebrate monaco where the team and the driver lost points because of their mistake, they could have showed up under the podium.

Also i would love to add about social media posts! I have seen many people commenting 'he said he wanted less media duties' on tweets about how mercedes posts less pictures/videos of him!

Less media duties DOES NOT EQUAL TO less photographs/videos ‼️‼️ infact gr has done more media duties this year! We would love to see his solo podium pictures posted on the very same day!

And tbh have favourites idc, but don't be soo incompetent. Y'all want your drivers to be 1-2, and y'all don't care about the order okay great wonderful, but how will you get that 1-2 if the team IS SOO FUCKING INCOMPETENT!!?

Like accept your mistakes and work ON IT!!! Every week it gets worse.

Was rewatching the WhatsApp video and this moment alone created a whole scenario in my head bc it looks like Ryan Blaney is helping George putting a helmet on and so what if that happened for real?? What if Ryan was taking George for a hot lap in his car like they usually do with celebrity from other sports??? And obv this would take place in the same universe where also Max Verstappen is running for NASCAR and, when the news that George Russell is about to do a thing like that comes out, everybody presumes that he would be put in a car with his rival, at least for the sake of their ongoing feud in F1, and Max too is pretty sure of it and despite all the big talks about how much he hates Russell that’s a strange excitement underneath bc he can’t wait to have the boy with him, just the two of them alone, and yeah okay, the camera for recording the event, which tbh would actually make the whole thing even more interesting bc they are so good at throwing darts at each other in those situations, like Max can’t even feel bad about some of the ugly things he says when George responds just as badly and the more he thinks about it the more he gets restless, to the point that, while he usually hates media duties, this time he can’t wait for it to happen– so, so! imagine his shock, his disappointment, his pure disbelief!, when he finds out Russell has chosen Ryan Blaney (who is also Max biggest rival in the NASCAR atm) for the hot lap!!!

And the worst thing is that the video is very much appreciated bc they get along like a house on fire and even F1 fans who usually hate on George are starting to revaluate him, as if all of sudden he is this cool guy who has jokes and loses all of his PR persona bc Ryan fucking Blaney of all people makes him laugh and be carefree and Max is about to punch someone, preferably his fellow NASCAR colleague and that hideous mustache which should be enough to put Max worries to rest, bc he knows how attentive George is with his delicate skin, so he could never be with someone who would scratch his face while giving even just a little kiss and the second he imagines that very scene it’s like a bolt passes through his body and makes him aware that he’s spiraling really bad so the only thing he can do to get out of this loop is obv be his usual self and try to tease George (and his new friend) through some interviews, saying things like “maybe my driving is too aggressive for princess’ likings– he needed someone slower” and then impatiently waiting for him to respond as if it’s some sort of public ritual they are doing just to be disappointed when George gets actually asked about Max’ latest words and the answer only emphasize his desire for a good experience in NASCAR and how just a friend and fantastic driver like Ryan could have given him that.

And Max doesn’t know what to with this, bc what do you mean Russell didn’t acknowledge him??? What do you mean he wasn’t even a bit rage baited by his words??? Why is Max even trying to push George if George isn’t there to push back??? Where’s the fun in it??? Also why he treats Ryan Blaney like he invented speed and races??? Did Russell get a concussion and suddenly forget who has FOUR WDC here???

And half of these questions are exactly what he writes in a fit of rage to George, sending the message before he can change his mind 😃
