You don't have to walk me home, babe--
Oh a lift sorry came out wrong. You’re just in the Town’s park. I was walking my dog. Are you far from home?
I-- no, my house is right down the street.. how did I end up here--?
You don’t look or sound too good, do you need like a life anywhere?
No, no. You-- a what? I'm fine-- where am I though?
Oh ummm are you okay? Are you even sober?
I-- yeah. I'm sober.. I--... Yeah, I'm alright.
"Well I’m fast, and people think I’m hot." She said with a a laugh "No, honestly, people always tip at least five bucks"
"You are hot!" Kendall exclaimed, pulling out of the parking lot of the restaurant. "That's pretty decent, not gonna lie. Do you like working there?"
be cool | charlotte & kendall
”Come on, come with me!” Charlotte said with a smile and held the other girl’s hand pulling her into her house. She was going to be alone at home all day since her aunt had gone to solve a few things like, finding a way to get Charlotte into Applefield’s college and finish some legal documents so she would have full custody of brunette. Even though Charlotte was almost turning 19, legaly she needed to have someone to be responsable for her only in case anything serious happend. And there wasn’t anyone else to be that person besides Bela, her aunt. Charlotte sat in the kitchen table where she had left her cereal bowl before finding Kendall on her front door. “My aunt is gonna be out all day, I really didn’t want to stay here alone.” She spoke before putting the spoon in her mouth eating her breakfast. “Why did you sound so surprised when I asked you to hang out with me?”
Kendall slipped her shoes off the moment she entered the house; she felt it was the nicest thing she could do as of now. The other girl had only just invited her into the house so she could at least show some respect. But at the question, Kendall laughed and shrugged her shoulders. "I just-- no one hangs out with me unless they want something from-- what do you want," she teased lightly, her feet carrying her into the kitchen, sitting beside the brunette. Women like Charlotte were the kind of women Kendall could definitely get used to talking to. She was tan, taller than her, sweet-- either way, Charlotte was an interesting person. Kendall wanted desperately to get to know her.
baby, we're invincible | dezzie & kendall
Dezzie was talking with her mother about the next practice she had to prepare for, and the first big game coming up. When she looked up at the clock she realized that Kendall would be there soon. She quickly bound up the steps to her room, before getting ready.
She was just putting her hair up into a pony tail when she heard the knock on the door. She smiled softly before grabbing her purse and jogging back down the steps, reaching the front door as her father reached the hallway. “I’ve got it, Daddy.” She said, waving to him as she opened the door, and smiled at Kendall.” Hey!” She greeted her, stepping from the house and closing the front door.
As the younger woman opened the front door, she spotted her father in the background for only a split second before she closed it behind her. "Hey, beautiful," she nodded and then turned around, heading back to her car. Of course, the brunette opposite her looked absolutely breath-taking and it was only a matter of time before Kendall couldn't compose proper thoughts and sentences. "Where do you wanna go, love?" She questioned, opening up the passenger's side door for Dezzie.
It’s good to know that you aren’t a liar. I don’t really have the patience for liars. But thank you for the compliments though I still think you are wrong and this hangover must be affecting your head in some way. [Scarlett took another sip of her water and started playing around with the bottle in her hands.] Oh wow. Someone even newer than me. So, where did you come from?
Hangovers don't effect my head, darling. I know a pretty girl when I see one. [Kendall watched the water in the opposite woman's bottle move around and she sighed.] I'm from Dallas, actually. I thought I needed a new start, so-- I came to a smaller town. Pretty happy with it, though. What about you?
I don’t think so, or I would’ve gone. Maybe you walked all the way here thinking it was the way to your house. Seriously, though, how drunk were you?
I-- shit, really? Fuck, I could have ended up anywhere-- um. I don't think I drank. I'm not a big drinker. Shit. I don't know, man.
You’re right outside my apartment.
.... [she looks around] Was there a party here last night?
[Scarlett let out a little giggle and shook her head.] You are just trying to get her as red as possible, aren’t you? And don’t lie. [She pointed towards her head.] This isn’t attractive at all. Not really. I moved here about a month ago so I’m fairly new. How about you?
[Kendall smirked, sipping her water again, her headache already feeling a tad bit better.] Perhaps I am-- and I'm a shit ton of things, but a liar is not one of them. [She sighed carefully and then leaned her elbow on the counter, resting her head in the palm of her hand.] I've been here about a week now. It's not all that bad-- I've already found people to party with.
In Applefield.
Well yeah, no shit. But-- where?
[Scarlett took a seat across from Kendall and took a sip of her own water bottle.] Why thank you! Though that’s probably more of a compliment for my parent’s. That girl sounds like a smart person..and probably has a really red face right now. Oh gosh. [She brought her hands to her face to cover her embarrassment.]
She does, and it looks great on her. [Kendall chuckled lightly.] Have you lived in Applefield long?
"Like eighty-five" She said with a smile getting into the car "Thank you"
"Damn, how the fuck do you do that?" Kendall was suddenly curious and she debated applying for The Green Spot. She carried herself around to the driver's side and climbed in, starting it up.
Oh, I’m really sorry… Hm, I was gonna ask you if you want to come in and hang out with me for today but if you want to go home, that’s fine.
Wait, really? You want to hang out with me?
baby, we're invincible | dezzie & kendall
The night came quickly and thanks to the radar, it looked like they would potentially be grabbing some light showers later tonight. That being said, it would be a perfect night for Kendall to take Dezzie out to dinner. The other girl stated she loved playing in the rain and, well, to be entirely honest, it would be wonderful for the girl to do so. Perhaps a little sober fun could be worth it. However, she packed her little baggy just in case.
As Kendall drove to Dezzie's place, clearing her thoughts as she did so, she inhaled an unsteady breath, fixing her hair in her rearview mirror. She looked great, if she could say so herself. The ride didn't take long-- it was a new concept for Kendall to be in such a small town after living in Dallas. But she pulled up to Dezzie's place, vacated her tiny Mustang and she walked up to the front door, knocking promptly upon the oak.
Well, there’s a first time for everything. Okay, water and aspirin it is. [ Scarlett opened the door and motioned for Kendall to follow her to the kitchen and pulled out the two things and set them in front of her. ] I’m Scarlett and it’s nice to meet you Kendall. I can say that I’ve never met anyone in this way before and I definitely won’t forget you.
[Kendall obeyed, following close behind Scarlett.] That's a beautiful name. [She nodded and popped three aspirin, tossing them back with a swig of water.] Well, I once heard from a pretty gal that there's a first time for everything.
