If it had been anyone but the Doctor, he would have laughed it off - that light weight of a flower being placed behind his ear. It is the Doctor, however, so he’s completely relaxed and turns his head with a smile. It’s a smile more genuine than most folks probably ever get to see, “Hullo there.”

  The look in those eyes causes his own to soften and he glances away briefly. It seems the more familiar they get, the more emotions roll up in him like something percolating - demanding his attention. Still smiling softly, he goes on the hunt for another flower, “You shouldn’t keep lists. Not good for your health. Live like I do - spur of the moment!”

A soundless laugh left the Doctor as he watched Fitz scouting for flowers, eyes not leaving him. "I don't think you know who you're talking to. My life is in the moment. When I say I have plans, I normally don't. Forget I said that. Nothing good can come out of that." He waved a hand as he talked before he dropped it and instead picked at the grass pieces on his leg to keep from gesturing more or saying more secret little things.

  His face softens and he reaches to give the Doctor a little pat on the arm, “Maybe we need to get a robot maid or somethin. Someone we won’t accidentally traumatize.” Rough fingers idly move to pluck a flower and he returns the Doctor’s favor, nestling it in amongst the others curls.
