“I can’t say I’m excited for the break in the same way,” Harmony paused, taking a minute to consider how she was feeling about the upcoming holiday before shrugging her shoulders, “But I can appreciate the excitement to put all of this in the rearview for a few days.”

“Can I ask why? It seems most people are pretty happy to be on break for a little while.” Adeline commented, giving a small shrug of her shoulders. “I definitely ready to see what next year is going to bring. Since this year brought me all the way out here.”

“That’s really cool. I’ve never been to Ireland, what’s your favorite thing to do when you’re there? Does your family have any Christmas traditions?”

“I mean, I really just hang out with my friends back home. Tend to do a lot of drinking, but we do the normal stuff. Go out to the cliffs. Sometimes head over to Dublin. Just kind of hang.” Adeline explained. “Oh yeah, but their the usual traditions that families have.”

“Yeah, you have to be crazy excited if you’re not leaving for a couple more days. Almost wish I had your happy. I haven’t even thought about packing for my flight. Where are you going?”

“I’m just ready to be there. I mean, flying is going to take a long time, but it will all be worth it.” She replied, nodding her head a bit. “I’m heading to Ireland. Going to see my parents and family. How about you?”

“Awww that’s going to be awesome. I bet you’re excited to spend some quality time with them.” Smiling as she thought about her own family time, well the times with her sisters and Toni’s family. “Not at all. I’m going to spend it with my family and with my boyfriend’s family. Although it might be nice to be on an island for a few day and too not have to deal with the holiday stress. Actually being on a nice sunny beach for a few days sounds a little bit like heaven.”

“I really am! I haven’t seen them since I flew out here for filming, so it’s gonna be great to be back.” Adeline added, nodding her head. “Well, maybe you can do all of it. We should have just enough time to fit in a small trip at the end of everything. Get to hang out and relax a bit.”

Roni smiled. “Where are you going, Lil Bit? I get it though I’m ready to go home and eat. See my family too, but also see the food mom’s making and just eat myself into a food coma.”

“I’m heading back home to Ireland for Christmas. I’m just ready to make it back there and see everyone. And like you said, get to have some good mom cooking.”

“I totally get the excitement.” Clapping her hands with excitement as she smiled at Adeline. “Where are you going if you don’t mind me asking? Is it a trip back home or more a fun holiday to an island?”

“It’s a trip back home. I’m going to spend Christmas back in Ireland with my family, so I get to be gone for a couple days.” She answered. “Are you planning to go to an island for your holiday?”

“Well, I guess it’s good to hear some people get as excited about leaving this place as I do at times.” Adeline joked. “But I’m heading home to Ireland for a couple days.”

“Flights are booked and I’m basically packed for my trip and I don’t even leave for another five days. Might be a little too excited...” Adeline commented. “But then again I don’t really care, jut ready to go.”

“So, someone sent me these shoes and I’m dying!!” Adeline spoke with excitement. “There are so fun! But they feel so weird. Do you think people wear them all the time?”

The question should have felt like an insult, a dismissal of the name she was trying to make for herself, but at this point it was routine for Harmony. She was someone’s ex first and an actor second. Instead of getting annoyed, she just laughed and shook her head. “I’m on Second Chance,” she replied, not adding the additional details. Nodding towards the phone, she raised her brows. “Something totally false break or are you just popular?”

Adeline hadn’t meant anything by the statement, mostly just curious as to who this person next to her was. “Oh, cool. How do you like it there?” She questioned, growing a little more curious about the other girl. Adeline looked down at her phone and shook her head. “Popular, I guess? I mean, I wouldn’t really consider myself popular, but it’s just a bunch of random people messaging me for some reason.”

Harmony glanced towards the girl’s phone and took a second before nodding her head. She couldn’t really relate since she tended to keep her phone turned up ever since the day that the news of her divorce broke. The message count had gotten out of control and despite having changed her number multiple times since then, she still just figured it was better to not tempt fate. “Well, you’re welcome to it if you want,” she offered, gesturing to the space as she tried to organize her papers.

Adeline usually only texted about three people in her phone on a daily basis. Everyone else she would get to whenever she got around to it. However, she was always willing to take a moment to be away from her phone. “Thanks.” Adeline replied before sitting down. With a sigh, Adeline relaxed back before looking at the other girl. “Are you working on something over there?”

Toni’s head was in the clouds. He wasn’t paying attention to a single thing anyone had said because he was looking at the pictures of him and Quinn. He was a zombie football player and they were zombie cheerleaders for the night and they had a blast. He yawned. “Damn, I’m tired. Flying to Oakland for a day and back to Vancouver bright and early has me tired as hell. Point me in the direction of coffee! Good coffee, that is.”

Listening to the guy, Adeline happened to take a drink of her coffee before nodding behind him. “I mean, it’s not great coffee, but it suffices.” She told him before taking another drink of her coffee. “Sounds like you’ve been doing a lot of traveling though. Keeping busy?”

Looking up from her notebook, Harmony sighed and tried to return to the real world. She’d been so absorbed in making notes that she hadn’t realized that she’d all but taken over the bench. “Sorry,” She murmured, scrambling to pull her things together so that the rest of the space would be open. “I was just… thinking. But that’s all yours, if you want,” Harmony explained, gesturing to the space she freed up.

Adeline had just barely been out for a walk when her phone continuously kept going off and she stopped moving to answer some messages. It took her a moment before she noticed she had stopped in front of someone on a bench. “Oh no, sorry, Love.” She commented. “I was just answering some messages. But I might actually take a seat now that you mention it.”

“So I guess you’re all onto thanksgiving now, right? Or are you one of the people who says November 1st is the first day of Christmas?”

“Um, well, we don’t really celebrate Thanksgiving where I’m from. We honestly just wait for Christmas at this point. I tend to wait for December 1st before actually starting to get into the spirit.”

Marco looked up and frowned. People and their drones were going to be the death of secrecy at this rate. Like other things he could think of, drones had no business being in the hands of civilians in his opinion. “If you want to shoot here, there’s definitely a risk of someone getting spoiler pics,” he advised, “we’re going to need more notice if it’s anything crucial.” 

Adeline happened to notice the drone from a distance and slowly moved closer to it, curious as the whose it was. However, when she heard the man speaking, it was easy for her to tell that it wasn’t one that she wanted to be involved with. “Someone trying to spy a bit?”
