I have a lot of work to do on myself. I have a real difficult time with intimate relationships. I end up hurting myself and the people I care about. I truly believe I am just better off alone. It is funny how you think your growing and healed. Then situations, people, etc can bring it all back in an instant. Life lesson healing, growth and being better than yesterday is not a straight ascent, it has its ups, downs and all arounds. I know I am not a horrible person, not a monster. I just have a lot of flaws and issues that I need to work on. I have to do this work by myself, well maybe with some help from an impartial party. I know I posted a memory yesterday. The thing about losing a sibling, particularly when you had a rough childhood is the following. You lose someone who knows you and what you have been through like no one else ever will. All the joy and pain, the jokes and memories, things that are inexplainable. After almost three years the pain isn’t as great. There are still the days of wanting to pick up the phone and have a chat and not being able to. Tough days where a good inside joke would come in handy. In some ways I hate social media for this. The yearly reminder of what you have lost. Ethan you never really found your way in this world.
