Moments pt.2

When you love someone. When you love someone, you love them in every way. You love their insecurities. You love their imperfections. You love the way they walk, they laugh, they stare at you. You think of them the time you close your eyes at night and every time you wake up in the morning.
When you love someone, you get mad at them. You get hurt. You hurt them as well. You put scars on them, and if you love them so much you try to heal those scars. You try to make them feel better. You make them feel more loved.
When you love someone, you dont just give up on them. It gets harder each day. But then you love them and no matter how hard it is, you stay because it is still harder without them. So you try to fix everything.
When you love someone, you wonder whether they have eaten, they went home safely, whether they are feeling alright or bad. When you love someone you want them to be always in good condition.
When you love someone, you want them to stay with you forever.
When you love someone, you wipe away their tears, you hold them as long as they wanna be held.
When you love someone you just dont let them go away. You dont let them feel like they are nothing. When you love someone you make them feel your love.
i will reblog this for the rest of my life

I’m in tears of happiness after watching the Sarbjit trailer. I’m immensly proud as a Sikh that Bollywood is finally recognizing true tragic stories of Sikhs and not just using them just for humour in their movies. Through this movie, people will realise the story behind Sarbjit Singh and the struggle of his family to prove him innocent, but sadly ending in his death. The icing on top is that my most favourite actress, Aishwarya Rai is playing the role of Dalbir Kaur, Sarbjit’s sister. I’m so excited to see her play a Punjabi woman and completely dwelve into her character as she goes from a young woman and aging up to 23 years. The cast is amazing and the performances look incredible. I am eagerly looking forward to this and I pray that it’s successful so that Sikhs can receive recognition for more than just their funny one-liners and language.

Fitoor: Unrelevant twists & plot points make it a staggering love story
Overview: A young artist tries to win the heart of his muse, while her mother hatches a scheme to end his quest for true love.
One of the most anticipated movies of this year, I was really excited to see. The cast was perfect, the music was endearing and the cinematography was beautiful. The movie started out well, showing the young Noor and Firdaus and their blossoming love story. However, as the film progressed, it became more and more blatant.
The child actors took on very mature roles which they played off well but the transition into adulthood is when the film got thrown off. There was not enough drama and conflict in the story to actually keep the viewer interested. The director instead chose to create very beautiful compositions and scenery in the movie to keep the viewer enthralled but the lack of content was sequential. There were also various characters that were added in the movie that had no purpose at all, Lara Dutta, Aditi Rao Hydari and Ajay Devgn were really not needed in the story as they were only used to fill in the gaps when the scene would get too boring.
The only part of the film which I enjoyed the most was Tabu’s acting. We already know what a phenomenal actress she is and she proves herself once again. Her scenes were some of the highlights of the movie. All of the soundtrack of the movie is used in the first half hour itself and a song starts playing as soon as Firdaus and Noor are in the same room (How cliche right?) The film throws in any type of problem it can think of in a typical love story: a disapproving mother, a previous fiance etc but none of it seems to tie the story together and all that we are left with is loose ends. Fitoor had great potential but it lacked substance and plot to actually make it a successful romantic drama, despite having a great star cast and music. Giving this 21/2 stars.
