I went from being a class II obese sedentary person to being a lean, energetic competitive runner and all-around fitness freak. Although I do track my weight for the purpose of checking in with myself, being a certain weight is never my goal. Getting down to a healthy body fat percentage has simply been a side effect of good nutrition and consistent training. In turn, the good nutrition and consistent training have been a side effect of doing the necessary psychological work, i.e. dealing with the emotional and mental issues that led me to obesity in the first place. Helllll yeah.

Leg day after two days of raving ain’t for the weak. I had two rest days but still. I’m menstruating and my back still hurts but I went. Back to 35s for kickbacks but I’m hoping my knees and hips will cooperate and we can go up to 40 soon.

This month is wack due to travel for work buuuuut we adjust and do our best. At least I can swim at the hotel and I always have my walks.

Haven’t been in Quebec since last year so it’ll be lovely to visit during the summer and enjoy an iced coffee on the pier.

For now time to shower and finish cleaning and packing and dishes and omg it never ends!!!!!
