Governors Awards shares no. 1 spot on my fave Charmie moments with TIFF (nothing can beat that TIFF hug tho) simply because it strucked me out of nowhere! Like, I was just woke up on a very boring weekend, not expecting anything, lazily opening IG and BOOM! What in the good old heaven is thiiiiissss???
None of us here knew about this event beforehand. No info, no news, nothing. We knew T had works in LA, but after that he’s been MIA so I wasn’t expecting him to prance around the carpet jumping on Armie like smol bunny in heat…
And that catch me if you can moment? LMAO!!!
And did it end there? Since, it’s a private event and no press camera allowed inside…
I still can’t figure out the context here, if anyone does, please enlighten me 😂. All I know is they went around the place taking couple selfie, telling journalists and other fellow actors “he’s my lover”, unprompted, didn’t know there was cam, like… WTF???
It’s like they decided to just OH FUCK YA’LL after that awkward HFA.
Oh yes, HFA was awkward af, full of tension (esp. on Armie’s side). My thoughts on it?
It was their first formal public appearance together after CMBYN promo over. But why so tense tho? Armie wasn’t like this when fooling around with Timmy at stage door (their 1st informal public appearance together)
Thank God for that E!interview, where I can see a glimpse of what (I think) is happening there. I think they’ve been told to “tone it down” after that supposedly private TIFF hug pic spread with snowball effect, don’t touch too much, don’t look at each other too much, just give him the awards and get out, don’t talk about CMBYN sequel too much (notice that this is the 1st time that both of them talk about the sequel in a very different tone than before, plus the start of We Want $10 million jokes).
So yeah, I’d say the handcuffs were pretty tight on them that night… Not my fave moment, but even PR shits can’t beat chemistry and love. Cz we got thisssss
