I'm high school my boyfriend was holding my purse and I let him be nosey (he was legit just being curious and I didn't care). And the moment he saw my pad (unused single use pad) he got so grossed out he refused to even touch my purse after that. Like wtf. Unfortunately, it’s not just tumblr. It’s the world. People in general do not show their best sides most of the time. It’s up to each one of us who are aware of this to educate people, be kind, and influence the people we can. If there are people on your dash who make you feel like shit, for god’s sake unfollow them, block them, do what you have to. Stay strong! Be good! And don’t perpetuate the crap, don’t reblog it, don’t stew over it. Delete that shit and post/do something positive. Ooo OR just blare your favorite song and rock on!

Also, if the mainstream tries to overlook you, you’re probably doing something right!
