i think we as catholics need to bring back listening to the pope.

it’s insane the number of rad trads who are ready to fight a crusade but are criticising the pope for the basic catholic teachings of: death penalty is bad, migrants should be treated compassionately, and people of all religions should be respected and encouraged to promote peace, justice, and fraternity.

ok i get that part of the Pope’s role is visiting various holy places and it is important for vatican media to document these visits and keep the faithful informed of what he is doing but i can’t with some of these pictures 😭

Let's say a prayer for all those who are struggling with loneliness. For those that are struggling with being single. For those who feel excluded by or misunderstood by their family. For those who feel like they're always the last choice for their 'friends'. For those that feel unable to make friends at work. For those who feel like everyone else just has a much easier time of making and maintaining friendships.
