mun speaking after 2 years
holy shit
two years
uh………………….this is awkward
So basically what happened is that mental illness as well as a lot of other factors got in the way of me RPing here and, unfortunately, I dropped away without a trace. I found this blog again while going through inactive blogs to unfollow (I followed my own RP account lol).
It’s almost amazing that Tumblr staff didn’t delete this blog since it was inactive for so long. Almost. We all now how incompetent the staff is.
Anyway, I don’t think many of you are still there. A lot of these blogs have been inactive for months or even years; I only found one so far who’s still going strong. Either way, if you’re reading this, thank you for being a follower here. I wish I could’ve spent more time RPing here, since the RP community was one of the greatest and most welcoming communities I could’ve been in. So, thank you to the RP community as well, especially the Dishonored RP community.
I don’t RP anymore. I simply don’t. I could probably pick it up again, but my activity would be sporadic given the fact that I have memory issues, time management issues, etc. etc. (I mean, I forget to do things five minutes after I decide to do them. Imagine if I tried to run an RP blog.) Maybe, just maybe, I could pick it up again, but for the meantime, don’t expect me to come back and start RPing anytime soon.
I do, however, write outside of RPing. My works on AO3 are here. As you can probably tell, my writing style has changed a lot since I first started here. If you’re still interested in anything I have done at this point, feel free to check out my AO3 account.
My main blog is here. If you decide to look me up there, please remember to read my links before you follow me. If you follow me. I wouldn’t hold it against you if you didn’t.
I don’t know where else to go with this post, so I’ll wrap it up.
I’m happy I had the opportunity to dip my toes in the RPing community on Tumblr for as long as I did. It was difficult for me, but it was fun. I enjoyed myself and I still have some fond memories. I might keep this blog up for another month to let people contact me before I either archive it, take it down, or simply save the URL as a sideblog on my main account. If you’re interested in making contact with me, my blog is still up there; your best bet will be to message me there or send me an ask there, though I’ll check this blog once a week to see if anyone has said anything here.
Thank you for reading this post, and thank you for being such a welcoming community. I don’t think I’ll come back after the next few weeks are up, but nevertheless, I miss y’all.
I’ll queue this post for a few days out of the week so that people get a chance to see it.
Mun out.
