iunno I really do think that a kink group that was driving trans women out is now archiving the discord server for ??? reasons and going super dark super private really does just smack of consolidation of power by whoever still has a hand on the helm. Which is interesante (negative) when there was a big community wide outrage when a group was recording munches and parties without anyone's consent. Side boat; people in my former group defended that space, much as they defended a new defunct group that was a genuine god damn cult.
Those who spoke out against it tended to heavily be trans women, and we were all dismissed and told to simmer down.
I told the mods things were shifting, people were leaving, and the public castigation going on with a few of us with a backbone was going to kill the group, and here we are.
I feel it's kinda on the nose that I became mythologized as a domme since whoopsie I'm actually Kinda Fucking Good at it, then became tranny non grata once I started talking about the recurring problem of exploitive bottoms, TME folks with knives drawn for trans women with Problematic Kinks, and people enforcing boundaries in the community.
Really mulling it over that a cis guy I've known for about three years cares more about the safety of trans women in a kink group than a mod team of We're So Queer Inclusive, Honest folks that would just slap a coating of pseudo Leftist Politik on the joint and call it done and dusted.
Kinda wild how my girlfriend was outed after having gone to a single fucking munch, and by somebody fishing for dirt on me like "So you hang out with Doe, right...?"
