Where else can I find King?

I have a bluesky. Right now I'm not interested in being active on any other platforms. I post on bluesky sometimes but it is mostly just a backup in case Tumblr catches on fire.

Is King old or does he just look like that?

As far as I know he's always looked kinda old. He is currently 8 years old. I don't know his exact birthday so he celebrates his birthday alongside all of the northern hemisphere thoroughbreds.

What kind of dog is King?

According to his breeder he is a long haired Chihuahua. I went into more detail here about my opinions. Tdlr: I say long hair Chihuahua out of convenience and because he has at least a very high % of chi in him.

A cowboy said some years ago that all horses should be taught to be led at a snail's pace. His reasoning was that they should be able to walk with you when you're old and slow.

I think the same can be applied to dogs. It's good to teach them to walk patiently with you before you become disabled. Because you will become disabled at some point if you don't die first.

I wish I had taught Duchess to accept a snail's pace before my autoimmune disorder showed its ugly face. She was initially leash trained for my old speed walking pace. But now we must be patient with each other while rewriting years old muscle memory in both of us

I'm very sad that no laying position is just right for my joint pain. All of them relieve pain somewhere but cause pain elsewhere.
