Not only does the framework of [sex]-socialization only ever seem to come up to discredit the experiences of trans women, it also is so completely soaked in white colonist culture that it's just racist nonsense in itself. Not every person "assigned male at birth" will be "socialized" in the same way, due simply to the fact that different cultures exist! Different people and places exist! If you want to talk about the way that the USA at large treats children assumed to be boys, you need to be aware that that is only one piece of one cultural context.
