“If your heart is pure, the world looks brighter. If your world is bright, you can be kinder to others.”
— Shoukei Matsumoto (via thebuddhistmind)
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future … This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”
— Steve Jobs
“Your perspective on life comes from the cage you were held captive in.”
— Shannon L. Alder
“Sometimes we need someone to simply be there. Not to fix anything, or to do anything in particular - but just to let us feel that we are cared for and supported.”

“You said you were afraid to lose me and then you faced your fears and left.”

Sylvia Plath (via quotemadness)
“You have to die a few times before you can really live.”

The aforementioned book was published posthumously via Ecco publishing and has recently come under scrutiny for assumed “overzealous editing”. We feel, however, that the above quote seems to stay true to his style, if not a little bit too hopeful.
