Assalamu Alaykum, How do we purify the heart so it becomes a reflection of the Ka'aba?
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem... Alhamdulillah, from the teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi (QS), purifying the heart is essential to make it a reflection of the Ka'bah. The heart is described as the house of the believer, the House of God. Just as the Ka'bah is purified, washed, and circumambulated, so too should the heart be cleansed and sanctified.
To purify the heart, one must engage in Divine remembrance, known as zikr. The zikr of Allah brings sanctity and purity to the heart, making it a suitable abode for the Divine Presence. By purifying the heart, one purifies the iron in the blood, which is essential for spiritual significance.The heart, being the house of God, must be free from impurities such as anger, disbelief, and negative traits.
It should be filled with love and devotion, allowing the Divine Presence to reside within. This purification process involves constant vigilance over the heart, observing and cleansing it from desires and conflicts.Through zikr, praising the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and engaging in spiritual practices, the heart is washed and blessed. It is a continuous effort to make the heart a dwelling place for Allah's Divine Presence. Remember, the heart is the true Ka'bah within you, and by purifying it, you make it a reflection of the Divine House.
