“Is it really winning if it’s an unfair fight? But go ahead, feel all cool if you beat people who aren’t nearly as trained as you,” he said. “I’m not blaming you, I’m blaming the whole FBI. You just happen to be a part of it. Well if they want money, I earn enough, I’d be happy to invest,” he said and ignored the part of them all being replaceable. He did not want to think of that. He also knew he could not convince Adrian that he wasn’t. He knew Adrian was a good person. And because they once were friends, he didn’t want him to die. “Do you want that?” he asked when Adrian dared him to shoot him. The gun was slightly shaking in his hands while he pointed it at Adrian. “Maybe I’ll consider giving you a normal training tomorrow, since you seem to like my violent side so much,” he answered him. He felt the adrenaline building up when Adrian laughed at him, looking like he still didn’t take it seriously. He held the gun still and fired a shot. With a loud bang the bullet flew into the wall, right next to Adrian’s head. Only a bit to the right and it would’ve gone into his friends head. “Ah no, I missed it!” he said with a bit of a smirk. He had aimed for a shot really close to Adrian, just enough to startle him, but making sure he wouldn’t actually shoot him. “I’d die for a coffee right now, are we leaving?”
Adrian let out a loud laugh. “I was trying to make it a fair fight. Is it my fault you were being such a little bitch at the time?” He arched his eyebrow at Harry. “All that is well above my pay grade, pal. All I’m saying is I can’t see it taking off. It’s just not practical to think it’d work... even if you did invest.” He shrugged. The atmosphere in the room was tense. Adrian felt a weird sense of pride as Harry refused to back down. He felt like he was finally getting somewhere with him. “Fields, I am so intrigued about this violent side.” Adrian spun on his heels, his eyes following the bullet as it skimmed past him. “Wow.” Turning back to face Harry, he had a grin plastered on his face and applauded Harry. “I feel like a proud father. If I wasn’t so hard to crack you may have even freaked me out a little bit.” He nodded before wandering over to Harry and patting him on the back. “Good job. As much as I hate your ‘let’s leave early attitude’... I’m going to say sure. I’ll buy you a scotch. I didn’t totally hate that.”
