I have this head canon that Tessa has a ridiculous number of college degrees. I think maybe Catarina would have encouraged her to get her nursing degree after World War II and then Tessa kind of started accumulating degrees. Like maybe she did nursing and then psychology because psychology would help her be a better nurse and then English lit because she’s Tessa and then she gradually got more and more unnecessary degrees. I think Magnus would take her out to lunch in the 90s and say “tell me again why you’re getting degrees in philosophy and Romanian.” And Tessa just responds simply “because I can.”
