Goovy music for our hypercapitalist/postmodern society
Here's a little joint I made. A mesh between Hip Hop and synthwave/retrowave
My cover of New Order's Blue Monday
Enjoy!
Here's another tune I made under quarantine, and it's the first time I experiment with electronic industrial sounds. The picture I used is from a screenshot I took when the city of El Paso sent out an alert.
I made this under the COVID-19 crisis. I am a philosophy student and now that I have more time on my hand, I've decided to dedicate more time to creating music. This is my first vocal project, enjoy!
Here is some Noam Chomsky over a lofi melody that I made under quarantine. Enjoy!
I took this photo on August 18th at around 2:30 a.m. two weeks after the El Paso shooting. I had just seen a performance in which the proceeds that were generated went to the shooting victims. It was a beautiful hot summer night, I was very very drunk, and so I decided to spray myself with water at the downtown spray park; it felt glorious. I never knew water could feel that heavenly. Anyway, as I was making my way back to my hotel, soaking wet, I decided to lay on a bench and soak in the calm summer night. Although my city had just endured a tragedy, at that moment, as I laid on that bench, I felt truly alive.
Not sure what genre this is..

“It is possible that the gaining of this conscious participation [in the All] is the goal of human life. It embraces even the invisible world which, as such, is ineffable and inexpressible - the unimpartable secret.”
— Jean Gebser

I like to explore new environments & jot down the melodies & lyrics that come to my mind. This picture was taken in that environment after listening to an Alan Watts podcast.
René Magritte, Towards Pleasure, 1950.
“Philosophy begins in wonder. And at the end when philosophic thought has done its best the wonder remains.”
— Alfred North Whitehead, Modes of Thought
They Live (John Carpenter, 1988)
“Find meaning. Distinguish melancholy from sadness. Go out for a walk. It doesn’t have to be a romantic walk in the park, spring at its most spectacular moment, flowers and smells and outstanding poetical imagery smoothly transferring you into another world. It doesn’t have to be a walk during which you’ll have multiple life epiphanies and discover meanings no other brain ever managed to encounter. Do not be afraid of spending quality time by yourself. Find meaning or don’t find meaning but ‘steal’ some time and give it freely and exclusively to your own self. Opt for privacy and solitude. That doesn’t make you antisocial or cause you to reject the rest of the world. But you need to breathe. And you need to be.”
— Albert Camus, Notebooks 1951-1959
