"I'd rather stay away from the psycho squirrels, but if you insist... " Adrian takes a seat next to the young man at the bench, "I've been alright, I was a bit busy the past couple of weeks because my sister came to visit but now that she went home I have nothing to do."

No, I don’t, actually, so you’re okay. I usually go to the one on Baker Street. I’m trying to avoid running into my ex, though. He doesn’t usually go too far from home, because he can’t lose time with the outside world, and our apartment is just on the corner. Plus, this one makes a good walk to work. Coffee is decent.

I actually like the coffee here better than anywhere else... which is particularly convenient since I live down the street. Besides, it gives me an excuse to leave the house, and the walk here is very beautiful.

Should I be worried? I’m not going to get food poisoning am I? That’s the reason I stopped cooking for the both of us.

No food poisoning, I hope, just an odd flavor combination. At least I thought it tasted fine.

[ Adrian's eyes flit from the table to the girl's face ] I would agree, of it weren't for the fact that it looks like you're trashing someone's clothes. If they're a bad ex-boyfriend's, I feel the need to tell you that destroying those is a bad idea.

The “no trespassing” sign is for everyone else.

[ He flinches at the clank of the padlock against the gate, his eyes still on the girl ] Well, I didn't know that. Can I persuade you to be happy about the fact that if you had, in fact, been a robber, I would've stopped you before you got inside the gate? [ Adrian said, offering Summer a nervous smile ]

After a few hours in the shop, I keep finding rose thorns in more and more concerning places.

Sometimes I worry that you're closer to your flowers than you are to me, and this just proves my point.

I'm playing Adrian, he's basically this super sweet architect who comes from the Netherlands but he's lived in the US for almost ten years now and he never wants to go back (there's some bad blood with his family because they were abusive when he was growing up) and he lives with his partner Bailey whom he loves so much and he adores his life here. 

So yeah. I don't really know how to explain my character better but hopefully I can play him really well, even if I'm horrible at being nice. Thank you if you took the time to read this!

I wasn't saying you had stolen it. I'm guessing you should take it to the lady at the counter, she'll know what to do with it.

The mystery is unravelled! Poor lady, she should get elder’s discount. For her sake and for ours. Wait, she looks like my grandma. Grams? [ Nicole walked closer to the old lady, but it turned out she wasn’t her grandma. ] Well, that was embarrassing. I should’ve known, I bough her a coffee machine last month… I’m Nick. I'm Adrian; pleased to meet you, Nick. Do you drink coffee here often? I come almost every day and I don't remember ever seeing you. That might have something to do with the fact that I'm terrible with faces.
