I just quit my full time, well paying work from home job with benefits because after 5 years, I just genuinely cannot take the constant mental torture that is the corporate customer service industry.

The 31st is my very last day, and I have nothing lined up other than my plan to take an entire month to recenter and reconnect with myself as an artist.

In that same breath, today my partner’s asshole of a manager absolutely blew up on him for being 4 minutes late to his shift, to the point that he swatted at him in an attempt to hit him, which my partner recorded on video, so obviously my partner will now be quitting his job too.

It has been such a very bizarre couple of weeks, and if changes come in threes here’s to hoping no one in my life dies or gets pregnant.

By no means a finished product but I officially put in my two weeks notice last week and I am so, so excited to have time and energy to draw again!!

❤American Traditional Flourish / Filler Study 🦅❤

⚔️ Shiny armor study ⚔️ Two-hour study on Procreate. This study was from earlier this year but I grew to hate it and now I appreciate it again. I would still like to push myself to make my digital paintings look more realistic in the future but I think I'm off to a decent start. I believe I drew this while binge-watching Dark Souls playthroughs.

✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* 　First post! *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ I feel like one of the few artists who haven't really had a glow-up over the pandemic. I've discovered that I'm actually more of an extrovert than I previously thought myself to be and keeping myself locked indoors for over a year has only amplified the worst parts of my anxiety and has made it near impossible to create anything. Now that things are *kind of* opening back up and I'm getting to know new people in my area I'm finally finding the energy to create again. Each of the portraits above were drawn over the past three days. The first being the oldest and the last was from this evening. I find that I definitely have a tendency to draw slightly lopsided faces because I get too wrapped up in details and forget to check my proportions (gonna be working on that). I'll primarily be posting here in an attempt to keep myself accountable and motivated to keep going.
