And you should for sure, Castlewood’s always been good for that. Hey you never know, I don’t see why it couldn’t happen. And the rest of us will be able to say we knew her when.

That is definitely one way to look at it. I definitely take a nap/sleep even when it’s sunny out. I’ve bought blackout curtains just for those occasions of sleeping with the sun out. 

I’ll make sure to remember the little people when I make it big. I’ll definitely give autographs galore.

Summer: Hey so I tried a new muffin recipe for Fall and Halloween and all that jazz. Pumpkin chocolate chip.

Savannah: Yooo is it true this weekend we're supposed to be getting some crisp, fall weather finally??! Just woke up and saw the forecast, please tell me I can finally pull out my hoodies and beanies.

Adrienne: The weather is definitely decreasing into fall territory so I think you can start unpacking the cute fall clothes - not that you're not always cute but you know what I mean.

Me either, unfortunately. Oh is it then? It’s got to throw your whole day off though doesn’t it? I think the fact that you like your co-workers has to be a good sign, and if it’s working for you then that’s awesome. Oh wow okay then, that makes sense, you get to hand off halfway through the day. Hey that’s good then, no need to change what’s working then.

It does a little because it seems like I’m asleep when everyone else is awake but I make do. I don’t necessarily mind it. Unless it’s my day/week for the noon news, I get to hand it off and go home to sleep because I always sleep after my shift. For right now? I’m enjoying being home and you’re right - no need to change it if it works. Now in ten years? Hey - maybe I’ll have Ginger Zee’s job and be on Good Morning America. Now that would be a damn dream.

Well, you know what they say, you can’t have an unpacking party without wine. Assuming that’s the kind of refreshments you’re referring to, but if not, I’m okay with whatever you have to offer. I’m not too picky. I can understand where you’re coming from. You want things to look nice, but sometimes the motivation to get to that point can be hard to find.

You’re not wrong there - wine is definitely needed when it comes to unpacking and you’re in luck because I definitely have wine. I’ve been this way my entire life - I have high standards and even with those standards, I find that I procrastinate to no end.

You’re right, the problem is they know it’s worth it so they keep pushing the price, and we keep on paying. And nah, that’s a great way to look at things, I’m sure that’s the right sort of mindset to have. That’s probably true, I can’t imagine trying to work at those hours. Wait, you’re actually done that early? Huh… I can see the upsides, then. Is that a long-term plan, or just for now?

And I don’t see that stopping any time soon. It takes some getting used to because this is my first morning shift but you know, I don’t hate it so far and I like the people so that’s a positive. Pretty much - I’m on the morning news and then a bit at the station afterwards when I switch with the evening weather broadcaster. There’s only two of us so we alternate afternoon shifts. It’s a ‘I’m going with it and we’ll see where we end up’ plan for now.

Most of the time I’m supposed to be getting ready for the next day at work, but really I’m just binging Grey’s Anatomy for the five thousandth time. Trust me, I’m the same about the clothes – one time I got back from a family trip and I might’ve lived out of my suitcase for like… three weeks? And a half?

...Yeah - I get the Grey’s thing. I have to be at the station by about 3amish for work and so if I find that I stay up late, it’s awful. I’ve been there for a week and I know that I’m not going to be able to do this job without coffee - lots of coffee. My roommate used to do that in college -  we were dorm mates for the first two years and when she’d leave over the summer and come back for the new semester, she usually just lived out of her suitcases for the first couple weeks. I got lucky in that I didn’t really leave town so everything went into a storage until it became the new semester and went back into my dorm.

Are you me? Like, seriously asking because that sounds exactly like my life. I hate chores of any kind, especially dishes. And I’ve definitely been guilty of just leaving clean laundry in the dryer and pulling things out as needed. Okay, you’ve got a one up on me at least for using a hamper, but you know.

It’s odd - I like perfection. I like doing things in the way they are supposed to be done - except when it comes to certain chores. Laundry takes me forever and I hate it with a passion even though I absolutely love clothes. I know someone from university that used to just buy a copious amount of socks and kept buying because he hated washing them.

Do you need some help? Not sure what it is, but organizing is just one of those things that calms me. And piggybacking off that laundry mention, another thing that I enjoy doing. I guess from the sounds of it we’re total opposites, but sometimes you need a friend in your life that’s the opposite of you, right? 

If you’re offering then I will surely not say no to any help. I can even provide refreshments because it’d be nice to have someone unpack with - maybe that’s what I need. It’s funny because I love things being in their place but it usually takes a while for me to get them into that position, you know?

You are very welcome. I mean - that’s not a bad business technique. I have only been in an IKEA once and it was completely mesmerizing but also very overwhelming.

It’s so good, isn’t it? And cheesy pizza, now it’s my turn to agree. The cheesier the better. Really, unpacking can kind of be done just as needed. Why stress yourself out? That’s a plus at least, a couple of days for adjustment sounds like it’s not too bad. I know some people can take like a week to really adjust completely to a new time zone. That’s great but wow… 2am sounds pretty rough to me.

I usually always make sure to get extra cheese on it - it’s worth the upcharge. That is one of the biggest lessons I have learned over the last couple years - stress is not worth it. Perfection cannot be obtained and I am not going to make myself insane trying. I think the 2am thing is going to be harder to adjust to than the actual time change. I do like having the morning slot at the station though - I like being done with work at 9/10, you know?

My thoughts exactly! Now, I do agree on cold pizza aspect but I just wanted very cheesy pizza. I’ll always choose pizza over actual work - especially unpacking. It’s a bit easier than I expected - those first couple days getting used to the time change was off but other than that, I don’t hate it. I do have to get up at 2am for work but I guess I’ll make do.

Blake: This is the second time I've watched the series and same. It's not even that funny. It has its moments, I guess, but overall? Not great.

Blake: Good Place is much better, but I watched that too recently for a rewatch.

Adrienne: I tried to understand it but I gave up - it's not funny. My college roommate was obsessed with The Office.

Adrienne: Good Place was just so fantastic - I wasn't expecting it to be as great as it was.

Adrienne: What about Brooklyn Nine-Nine? I binged the whole show for the first time last year.
