Hello there, and welcome to the inaugural edition of “How Married Are They?”, a post I am being peer-pressured into writing by a person whose identity I will not divulge.

I was inspired by this post of a wip by @darthwillies , in which Anakin’s soul is severed by a holocron and presumed dead. His irritated spirit follows around an unknowing Obi-Wan. The scene painted shook me really hard, so I had to try drawing it!

While I do like obikin never talking about whatever they have going on ever I also like the idea that Anakin confessed to Obi-Wan (in his very intense and unsettling way ofc 🫶 ) shortly before AOTC, got a rejection and a lecture of a lifetime, and that's why he is Like That in it. I love you master. you're the closest thing I have to a father. except not really but also kind of and isn't it fucked up that I'm in love with you and we both know it and have to live with it now. I'm going to go murder a village. fuck you.

this isn't really pre-ot3 but if you wanna read it that way, go for it!! mostly i just wanted obi-wan to be all tied up in knots over watching anakin fucking padme :))
