“EE-va?”
Aiden was minding his own business when he realize that he was standing in front of a cross walk. When did he get here? How did he get here? He wasn't sure but when he looked down the drawing that he had been working on was done and clouds were starting to roll in. He wanted some early cold weather so there was a light snow coming. "Ah, the wind feels nice.." He muttered to himself as the light for the walkers turned green. Maybe he should stop messing with the weather -- but then again where was the fun in stopping?
❀; Her posture straightened out once more, head lowering just a little before a small purr was given, “Trying?" She echoed in question, "Trying he says." A small laugh or two was given before she held out a hand only to point in the direction of his head, "Everyone’s a little mad don’t you know? I don’t need to try to drive you mad when everyone will just go mad eventually but whose to say we’re not all mad as we are now and we’ll only become normal as time goes on?" A gasp, "Oh my, that’d be quite something if mad is normal and normal is mad.. don’t you agree? or was it the other way around? nya, who cares."
Aiden stared at her as she spoke. His brain wrapping around what she was saying and just how fast she was saying it. The male sighed as his pencil finally stopped twirling within his fingers and got put away. "If we were all mad then we wouldn't live in the world we do now. We'd all live in your world. Here, normal is normal and madness is only a matter of time." He said as he reached out to poke her nose with the end of his pencil, the eraser part. "Isn't that right, little kitten?"
He could feel that there were scrapes on his palms and his knees hurt where they made friction against the ground. He groaned, and stood on his own two feet again. Layne grabbed his things from the ravenet stranger that helped him gathering his things up. And he couldn’t feel more pathetic with his clothes were soaking with rain water and his laptop too were wet with puddle water from where it had fell quite dramatically. “Crap please be okay” He muttered to himself not really minding what the other was saying. “I think the only thing bleeding is my aching heart” Again, he mumbled, but he really should find shelter first and figure out whether his laptop would be working fine or not. “Uhh — Would you know some cafe nearby or something?” Home would be too far for him to reach and he’ll wait for the sudden pouring to suddenly stop before continue with his venture.
This person was not listening to him. Not at all. Aiden wondered if the other could even hear him. it wasn't bad that the kid was worried about himself but he could at least be a little grateful that he was getting some help. But, wasn't this whole thing Aiden's fault anyway? Sigh. Life wasn't easy, it never was. Aiden blinked and let the other finish speaking before he even opened his mouth. "The cafe is rather far but my studio is just around the corner. You can follow me back and you can get cleaned up. "If that's okay with you that is." The dark headed male shrugged his shoulders as he twirled his umbrella in his fingers, glancing back to make sure his sketch book was still where he left it. It didn't have legs but he didn't want someone stealing it. "So what do you say?"
❀; The cat leaned back a little when he turned around, hands lifting only so she could lightly tap her thumb and index finger together before her figure seemed to disappear into thin air before reappearing directly behind the male again, tapping onto his shoulder this time seconds before she pointed to his pencil in which he proceeded to continue twirling so effortlessly it seemed. “If I was lost I’d have to have a destination in mind, I don’t therefore I’m not lost, hohoho~”
Aiden blinked when she was out of his sight and behind him tapping his shoulders. Sigh. It seems he had run into something rather troublesome. "A lot of people are lost with a destination. Lost can mean a lot of different things, dear." He said as he glanced over his shoulder at her. "Now what are you doing?" Aiden wondered in her direction. "I am aware that only I can see you and it's looking bad on me to be talking to what appears to be thin air." he sighed. "You're not trying to drive me mad, are you?"
Layne swore to the moon and back that God was mocking him with the rain. It was so sunny a few hours ago and it started pouring out of a sudden, and to add more insult to him, he was outdoor with his laptop in his hand on his way back home from school, now running as he took a shorter route through the park. What it felt like crap just fell on his fate was when he tripped on his untied shoelaces, stumbling in his stances and fell face flat on the ground; his laptop and his bag came crashing down with him. “Goddammit, rain” He mumbled, picking himself up from where he had fallen.
Aiden did kind of feel bad but the other should have tied his shoes. Totally not his problem that the boy fact planted. Though, he knew it was his fault because today was suppose to be sunny. Oh well. Aiden stood and stepped over, leaving his water proof sketch book there on the bench. "Are you okay?" He asked as he began to pick up the boy's things. Nothing looked broken so that was good -- he could have fixed it anyway if there had been something damaged by his fun day of rain. "Are you bleeding anywhere?" He asked. "Or scraped?"
❀; It wasn’t often the cat wandered into the city though today she felt like it, the forest in which she normally resided within had grown boring to say the least, not even her little monsters could amuse her, how sad, truly, perhaps when she returns she’ll behead a couple for being such bores. The cat wandered aimlessly in thought and effort of trying to find someone who could entertain her, if only for a little bit and that’s when she came across a dark haired male, well, probably not someone she’d speak to on a Sunday but well, he was the only one around now and she’d grown tired of looking for a entertainment source. Purple smoke surrounded the cat at her feet as she ‘walked on air’ in a sense toward him, levitating just three inches off the ground behind the male she parted her lips with a purr and spoke, “My oh my, what’s this?”
Aiden turned once he heard the purring sound that was followed by a voice. He half thought he was going to turn around to a talking cat. The male blinked when his grey eyes landed on her person. Was she floating? Yeah, she was. Aiden didn't think this was one of his drawings -- no, she wasn't. Sometimes his sketch book took it upon itself to come alive and fuck with him. "What's what?" He asked as he turned to face her fully while twirling a pencil between his fingers. "Are you lost? You don't look like you're from around here." Aiden wasn't sure how to handle her and her appearance. It also didn't take him long to realize that no one else could see her. Oh great. He was going crazy.
Aiden sat on a park bench with his sketch book in his hand. He felt like rain today so it was pouring. The rain splattering off his clear umbrella. He was sure people were cursing and muttering but he didn't care. A little rain never hurt no body. Once Aiden had finished the last rain drop the rain became a steady down pour, cool winds and the nice smell of wet flowers. "Ah, it feels nice." Muttered the young adult.
