March 1, 2017 - When I was on the airplane headed for South Africa, I read about this restaurant called Sexy Food. The guy who founded it lean weed all about fermented foods so that he could help his body overcome his illnesses and ailments (as about 80% of our immune system stems from our gut). We checked it out and it was UNREAL! Highly recommend this great place. The vegan food was delicious and filling. And my favourite thing is that they don’t use plastic straws! Instead their use glass ones. Woohoo!

February 27, 2017 - We drove out to a dam where we watched the sunset, played with Fin the dog, swam, and paddled across the water. Afterwards we slept in tee-pees that had spiders on the outside that we the size of grapefruits. What a day!

February 27, 2017 - Exploring around Cape Town with David Kennedy! We took us to this amazing nature reserve where there was a waterfall and swimming hole. Adrenaline pumping event: a snake almost fell onto Rachael, but instead it fell off of the cliff and right beside her!

February 26, 2017 - Kirstenbosch Summer Concert Series! This was such an epic event. We came to watch “The Soil” perform - they are an acapella trio who use their music to speak about such amazing issues (racism, xenophobia) and encourage he love and acceptance of everyone and everything. Such a magical night with an abundance of radiant energy and light. I highly recommend seeing them perform live if you ever have the chance!
