The wonderful and funny Gerry Love Record boys are releasing yet another wonderful limited edition 7" Split Single this time with Adam Stamford (Y'all is Fantasy Island) and Rick Redbeard (The Phantom Band). They are also celebrating with a few wee gigs in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. Buy the vinyl and go to the gig. It will be good and it looks very beautiful....the vinyl that is.

So it is that time of year again when Edinburgh becomes filled to the brim with tourists with lots of flyers looking skywards and generally driving the year round citizens mental by walking too slow. Yes Festival time is here!

Last night I went along to the opening evening of the Edinburgh International Film Festival and seen Killer Joe the William Friedkin film. To be honest I'm still trying to decide whether or not I enjoyed it.

Girl Back West Back East is a new blog originated from Girl Back West, but with the addition that I've moved back to Edinburgh. Tumblr is going to be my own diary of photos, tips and adventures I come across in what at times feels like crazy life of music, work and travelling.
