Why do companies waste time trying to overhype a crappy benefits package instead of just admitting, “We pay crap but the job market suck so deal with it”

So Question:
I had a video interview earlier today and during the conversation, I mentioned how on a previous project I had success with using iCloud to keep the team on task and on the same page. Stuff such as a common Reminder List, a shared folder in Notes, using a shared calendar in the Calendar app, and a shared album in Photos (to see the results of actives). At this point when asked by I didn’t have this on my resume or LinkedIn under technical skills I explained that I could not think of a concise way to put down iCloud and explain it the same way one would with Microsoft Office, Quicken, or other more business-aligned software.
Is it worth the time and energy to figure out a way of including it? If so does anyone have any ideas on how to go about it?
(Side Note: The interview is going nowhere, things went downhill when the conversation turned to pay scales and structures)

Tired
I’m just tired of no matter what I do stuff blowing back at me.
I’m tired of nothing working out and constantly having to fight with people.
I’m tired of living and tired of the knowledge of the pain I’d bring others if I just gave myself some peace.
Has anyone out there actually used TopResume’s services? I’m considering getting my resume and LinkedIn profiles redone and I’d love to talk to some past users?

Old Navy Employees?
Ok, so I’ve been working at Old Navy for almost 18 months now. Just shy of a month ago we adopted Gap corp’s mobile checkout process and I can say for sure I hate it! It takes three times as long as just taking the person to the register and checking them out normally. However our retard of a regional leader insists that the bulk of our transactions have to be done using it going forward. Personally I would never tolerated or put up with that wait and I have a MAJOR problem with expecting others to do something I wouldn’t.
So, my question to any Old Navy, or other Gap Brand, employees who see this: what are your thoughts and opinions on this?
@dying-but-still-trying I just saw your reply. I fully agree with everything you said.
First I’ve never been one for loyalty to a company, though I’ve had bosses I’ve felt a degree of loyalty towards. However, having said that millennials are idiots and these are the dumbest reasons to leave a company. Either they’re lying to themselves and the interviewer about why they are looking to leave or they have zero interest in their own needs despite their constant complaints that they cannot buy a home or get out from under their student loans.

So, Not Sure What To Do Next
So I've been working this job since early December and I just instantly knew it wasn't for me. But I kept working it because it was full time and a paycheck while I searched. Anyways, I got an early glimpse of my 90 day review today in the form of a heart to heart with my boss and I highly doubt I'll be kept after the next week anyways (plus I really just don't want to be here anymore). My question is how should I word my notice letter (or resignation letter) so it doesn't come off like I'm throwing a tantrum? I don't want them to think that they got to me or have this bite me down the road.

I Just Don't Know Where I Stand
Ok. So when I went in for that shift on Monday things went ok. They actually asked me if I could pick up a shift on Friday. Yet today they gave me a call around 4 and told me that they actually didn't need me to come in for Friday. I just don't know where I stand in this company. I don't know what's going to happen with me. Is a little stability too much to ask for?
