Allen laughs heartily. He recalls what Robin told him of his adventure into Nottingham as a butcher and smiles. “ Rich abbots pay double, business men pay regular price, but pretty ladies and widows pay nothing. ”

“Ha, yeah? You think? My mom thought so, too. Thinks so.” Strangely sober for a moment, before her smile is biting again. “Okay, two thingies – first thingie, what’s a lady, the and the Bth thing – what flower?”

“ Wha... a lady? Oh, well. A woman, you know? One who’s beautiful and kind. ” Will gives her an odd look. Her manners aren’t like those of the other ladies he’s met, though most other ladies he’s met aren’t violet.

“ Why, a violet of course! ”

He must have been important, Ingvar thought, if he introduced himself by two names. He was a bit red in the face as one unaccustomed to such kind words of praise. And he’d even asked for his name. Surely this was a kind, trustworthy fellow, he thought as he cupped his hands slightly and stood slowly, steadily, up.

“My name is Ingvar. That not what I usually called, but… I preferring my name.” He paused awkwardly, “Is it… good place for you to be looking from, there? Or should I be lifting hands more?”

“ A merry sight to see! This is just fine, Ingvar. We will feast tonight in Sherwood for all the help you’ve given me. Now, say, what do you see over yonder? Is that our dear Sheriff of Nottingham getting up to no good again? ”

Oh, dear. He didn’t actually have one of those. Therefore, Ingvar looked terribly worried, and terribly confused, all of a sudden. Still, he didn’t want to outright refuse; the giant didn’t mind helping someone, and perhaps there was still something else he could do for him. “I… not having a hat, b-but if you needing to see something far away, then I could still be lifting you and helping you to do that if you would like, sir.” For good measure he knelt and offered his hand.

“ What a good man you are. I’d very much like to get a look at Sherwood from so high up. ” Robin stepped onto the giants hand and offered him a broad smile.
